I would love a yacht like this, sadly she has not been kept as a Jongert should. Someone with the money and time will give her a major refit and end up with a fabulous yacht. As my budget only stretches to an ageing ex charter First 501 it won't be me.
Beautiful Yacht. With all the deck furniture how can you fit a dinghy? Mastercabin was fine, small. The guest cabins are very small for the size of this yacht. Overpriced for its age.
What a nice boat the owner has done some questional changes, and only 3 cabins on a 95ft yacht thats a fist realy good potential with this ,for the right price.
Any boat at that level of systems, rigging machinery, etc. Will need an adequate yearly budget to keep her in shape. The present owner follow that principle.
Unfortunately the boat can not be sailed properly as it rolls excessively due to design error. That mightbe the resdon why the sailsare notused and rotten.
Source of that info ? There were several of these built. Do poor designs usually get made repeatedly ? Google tells me that at least one, Nommo, is still a popular charter boat. Are ppl really paying 40K euros a week for a boat that doesn't sail well ?
Unfortunately, the yacht was built in such a way that even with "enough" wind from astern, the wind pressure was not enough to prevent the perpetual rolling. When close to the wind the boat was too slow, I was never able to achieve more than 8-9 knots even with full sails up and relatively calm seas (not even under the engine, by the way) and as soon as there was a bit of sea or swell coming from the stern, the thing started to roll incredibly, like a tree trunk in a stream. No preventer , boom vang or anything else would have helped.
@@jackharper3190 Interesting observation that, alas, is not corroborated by anyone else on the internet which seems surprising, given the prominence of the builder, the yacht being in charter for 30+ yrs, and that several hulls of the same expensive design were built.
What a nice indepth tour, i always wanted to see a tour like this on a Jongert M. For the age a real timeless interior. Thank you!
An enjoyable tour of this meek vessel.
Thank you
Blue Facination had a round the world trip with its original German owner.

more beds for Crew than for passengers...:D
This is a sailing vessel. It requires more crew than a motorboat.
beautiful boats at a reasonable price. unfortunately looks really expensive to maintain
