I saw these guys two weeks ago and it was a show I'll never forget, darkness and heaviness at a new level. Anyone who refers to this band as anything less than extroardinary needs to re-examine whatever they think they know about metal.
i've only seen hitechapel once. but i saw them play at a crowded as fuck tiny venue. leeds, england. our crowd gave them what they deserved. i left broken and brusied. best gig ever.
what people dont understand is this was at an all day festival with over 50 other bands. so not everyone there was there for whitechapel. some people stand up against the guard rail all day to see one band and not care about the others. theres alot of people just walking by checking out this band theyve never heard of. if you were there in the pit, youd think differently.
@itclown ahah i know aye, I saw em at soundwave in sydney australia. I hardcore dance for breakdowns , then when they have blasts and faster beats i mosh. best band ive ever seen live
@Rockn420Roll I know it's a little late, But I agree. I don't enjoy being thrown around, pushed, slammed into other people and hit because some kids like acting like they're tough cookies. I just want to enjoy the show.
I blew out my knee in the Whitechapel mosh pit at the start of summer cause someone fuckin kicked me as I stepped. Where the fuck is the carnage here??? Everyone in the pit when they played here in Arizona walked.. no limped outta the show.
white chapel gets slow crowds a lot because they tend to play late in the set so everyone's already tired. I dont like their records much tbh but they are fucking sick live.
@Rockn420Roll well if your actually up on stage and everyone is standing out in the crowd you feel like shit. Any band would love to see bodies flying in every direction it makes them feel a lot better about themselves
@Rockn420Roll Im not starting any fights,im just stating my opinion here. Alot of people dont really wanna stand there and do nothing the whole show either. To me its pretty boring. Some people get into the music and they wanna move around. Circle pits are pretty pointless though. Mosh pits or hardcore dancing is better in my opinion.
@killswitchhabib maybe if us humans were capable of hearing exactly when theres a breakdown and if they were better or a little more catchy people would dance but all i hear is noise and growls and when i think i hear a breakdown its ruined by guitar :P sorry im not a fan of this deathcore
HAHA people that brag about how they throwdown obiously only do it for attention, I like to throwdown as well, but not because "it's cool" or "its Hacrdore" But because its fun. Next time you are "throwing down" think why you are there.
