It's kind of cool that some of the missions call for "not" coming in first place. In other words, you don't always have to win and mistakes are encouraged. I always did think that allowing someone to make mistakes is a perfect way to train someone. It can be frustrating, but mistakes are a part of the game, and life in general.
Is it bad that I think the first three Mario and Sonic games are better from a gameplay standpoint than the latter three? Just feels like Beijing, Vancouver and London were more focused on gameplay, while Sochi, Rio and, in some ways, Japan are more about style over substance. London = Vancouver > Beijing > Japan > Sochi and Rio
I haven't played too much of the latter 3, but I feel like you're right in that the gameplay is better. Hopefully I get to play the rest of this series on my channel.
For this particular game, it was mostly the speed type characters for me. But I guess for events like archery and skeet, I use other kinds of characters.
