OMG!! Crazy. In my head this is what I have been "gearing" up to do, but have not heard anyone put a composition together like this. At present I'm working on Morphagene. Just finished Laracd, Panharmonium and Spectraphon, so my head is spinning a little. But I now have a much clearer path in mind. I was planning on using NerdSeq as my master but I really like how you are using Deluge. Well Done!
Hey Jeremy, loved the video. The technical knowledge to set this all up how you did was pretty amazing seeing how you're still fairly new on the Eurorack journey! Very impressed!
Wow, that was really cool, and generous of you to share the reels. Thanks. I don’t have Morphagene, but it’s definitely on my list. Nice to see my favorite module, Spherical Wavetable Navigator, doing some work as well 👌🏼
@UChnxLLvzviaR5NeKOevB8iQ sorry man really not trying to! Loved everything else and when you added the vocals it threw me off lol not super savvy with music and just curious if others agree, or maybe I'm missing something. Thanks for taking the time to respond though!
Learning so much from your little "on the spot" explanations, THANK YOU... For now just freaking out in VCV-Rack, Analog Four, Rytm and Neutron. But the Euro-hardware is already an "idée fixe" in my brain so that will conceptualize eventually. Love you humour (and your pets, of course) too.
I've been playing with slow progression of rene with faster triggers also and I really like it. Makes it easier to do baseline progressions. (discussion around 8:00)
I wish you didn't make awesome videos so fast. I have to watch some of your content over and over to get the full details of what you're exploring, and as soon as I've digested everything, you've got another video up. I ONLY HAVE SO MANY HOURS IN THE DAY!!!!! haha
This is awesome!! Did you see the coming Deluge firmware 3.2 updates?? Individual row lengths for kits! A hack I just tried with the Deluge was to set the clip length to 1/16th of a bar and then set the note/gates to ratios of different numerations, like the 3rd of every 5 and 1st of every 6 or whatever. Quick way to create polymeters(?) Crazy but fun so just wanted to let you know!
Thanks for the tour, Jeremy! This would be seriously fun to play with. I will have to look at minimal setups at some point... The layers of sound in your songs really stack up to amazing. Real time multi track creation oh yeah.
And to reply to myself, crossing the streams with the ART interview, I note here too, for any lurking, that vcv rack is an interesting free entry into modular rack. I'm hope I can make some non musical music soon, seems like a rabbit hole sort of past time, getting increasingly musical over time drawing you deeper...
how comes that the deluge is so easy to use in modular enviroment and the op1 is such a pain in the ass?? really consider to swap my op1 for a deluge!!
Man I need some advice on how I should chain midi with my hardware. Digitone Volca beats, bass,FM Keystep pro, beatstep pro Novation circuit I also have a jdxa and novation synth Omnisphere 2.6
Why is most Juno inspired hardware with at least 1 voice less than the original :/ did they tell you if there will be a 4 or more voice version of Castor and Pollux?
@@RedMeansRecording Hermod, a SQ-1 + Rene .... but mostly, just for playing chords with a Keystep (recorded into Hermod, or NerdSeq). It‘s what I do in my mobile skiff, mainly Hermod + 4ms Spherical Wavetable Navigator).
@@RedMeansRecording I know my answer sounds stupid for people who just have a normal polysynth in their studio but since I enjoy traveling to our local modular meetups I try to stay with less than 4 power supplies and I don't want big keyboards and so on. Keystep + Hermod + my 4ms SWN is a dream combo, but other Oscillator sounds would be welcome.
I see Deluge, I click like. Every time.
unlike alot of modular tubers, You, Jeremy, never forget that the point of having gear is to make bangin' tunes

I don't have much of an interest in modular for my own setup, but this was fascinating, and the end result sounds super dope.

To each their own, but those vocals killed the vibe for me each time they played. haha

I think part of the vocals is slightly out of time
Awesome Jeremy - thanks for the walk through

I love it man, the Sound of the bass is From another World 🔥🔥🔥 so creamy!!!!
Pure love! 😍 The bass sounds awesome!
Hey that was awesome
Deluge ftw! I own one now i need some modules! Haha thanks for the videos

Too much to do in life for sure. Especially since the general goal is 10,000 hours to make any task look like magic...
really really
Really enjoying these videos! Im using deluge in the same way. Thanks!
I downloaded the free loops and I, just listen to them.

Morphagene is an interesting modular synth name
You also need a Instruo Arbhar. Perfect bride.
super nice track!!! is it available somewhere for buying? maybe bandcamp? please let me know, would be super nice! have a good week start :-)
I looooove the idea of using the dual oscillator as a fixed interval. I'm curious though: why two separate outputs instead of the mix output?
Two filter inputs on the popple. Two sets of modulation to play with
@@RedMeansRecording oh wow! I didn't realize the Popple was so powerful.
It's two mi ripples filters in one!
@@RedMeansRecording oh dear. And January was going to be a "no gear purchase" month. 😆
Concerning Sequencers, have you yet set your eyes on the Erica Synths Black Sequencer?
Yeah it looks awesome

Op1 hates playing with any other gear. It's sad.

Novation circuit

unrelated to video, do you care if people listen to your music while streaming? will i be copyrighted?
For reels?
What is the module you used as a mixer with all the mute buttons. Ok the top right?
Roland mixer. 531? 513?
I came in the year 2022 to ask the very same question 🙋♂️
Why is most Juno inspired hardware with at least 1 voice less than the original :/ did they tell you if there will be a 4 or more voice version of Castor and Pollux?
How are you going to use a 6 Oscillator eurorack polyphonic voice

I don't have an updated one, sorry.
i like to think i helped during the design process of c&p but really i just made jokes about how pollux sounds like bollocks
