A good landing isnt only about fpm. You have to land inside the touchdown zone also and dont forget the center line either. Landing smoothly outside the touchdown zone doesnt say much

The best landing isn't just about smoothness also depending on the airport you can land with positive fmp so it's not the "best landing" nor does fpm have anything to do with smoothness it's all about the g load on the aircraft
