    I’m getting double jaw surgery next month, and have the same problem as you had, with only one point in my mouth touching when I bite down. Most of the movement in my surgery will be bringing my top jaw forward, and then bringing my lower jaw back just a bit. I might also have to have my upper jaw widened (which I’m hoping won’t be the case). At just 17 years old, this surgery used to be pretty daunting to me, but considering I’ve already been waiting 10 years for the day to come, I am more than ready for it. I appreciate this video and thank you for sharing your experience!

      I am so bummed because one doctor two doctors who specialize in North agnostic has wanted to move my jaw, a little bit upper jaw forwards and lower job back a little bit, but one is also a crane your facial surgeon said aesthetically. It would be worse and a lot of surgeons like to do this to make it easier on themselves, but he would move the top jaw forward more and leave the lower jawnow I’m bummed about this because it’s also alignment. It wasn’t just. I mean it had to do with the width of my pallet and anyways.

    I've been waiting for this surgery since I was 12 that was ten years ago when I decided it was what I wanted I cried infront of everyone in the orthodontist because it meant alot to me to be able to look forward to having my perfect bite and not have to strain my bottom jaw backwards since having braces my bites been worsened alot and not I can't wait to feel what a regular bite feels like or to not struggle to eat foot I also have a 'cant' so I always eat on one side of my mouth I will be having my 'cant' fixed aswell as my upper jaw moved forwards and my bottom jaw moved backwards I'm hoping to get the surgery next year as I've had braces for 4 years now and it's a long time coming I can't express how excited I am but also very nervous I've watched alot of videos on it and have recognised its not going to be easy I weigh 100pounds naturally and cannot gain weight so I hope this goes as smooth as possible I will most likely constantly be eating when I'm out of surgery to try and keep a healthy weight or the weight my body allows me to have as I have a fast metabolism I appreciate you taking the time to make this video as its really be helpful to me

    Your experience is basically the same as mine ! My orthodontist also pushed my teeth to the front to make it look like I have a normal bite. My surgeon told me he will first make my upper jaw wider, making it possible for my front teeth to go further back, after that he will perform a surgery to push my jaw forward. I look forward to it even though it is going to be uncomfortable. Can’t wait to be able to breathe through my nose and have a balanced face.

    I have an underbite and had braces to correct it and address crowding. I’m 23, but over the last three years, I’ve had a growth spurt that has significantly worsened the condition. Additionally, the eruption of my wisdom teeth has completely undone the progress made with braces and affected my face. My face and mouth constantly feel numb and are in pain.

      I had my first post op visit and the next one is 5 weeks after that. I'm not sure if it's different for every practice but for me, I have the surgeons cell phone number in case of emergency or if I have questions. It's good to have that but never used that emergency numb.
      Right now, I take the advil every 7h or so.

    • @visionvixxen
      @visionvixxen 5 месяцев назад

      Moving your job back, kind of squares the way your face and shortens your face, giving the appearance of a short and weak chin. Hallmarks of masculinity often times look like prognathism angular, jaw, or a jaw that jets out so when you make the jaw receded or move it back or look smaller, this will cause a little bit of a little bit compared to where you’re dry line looks very Chris. All of these factors are extremely feminizing and if you look at his own pictures even now to before he looks a lot more masculine before and this is just the mirror of his Upper forward so yes, this can be a problem if you wanted to correct it you would have to use jaw implants or jaw filler
      So yes- be mindful . In fact, these are the exact results looked for by people transition from male to female.

      It is possible without braces! However, your surgeon will most likely require you to have some type of braces prior to surgery, to ensure your teeth fit together perfectly. I’m getting double jaw surgery next month, and I’ve been going through Invisalign treatment for the last year and a half. Came to find out two days ago that I might not even be wearing my Invisalign for a few weeks after surgery. Meaning: I will have surgical hooks screwed into my gums, in order to either rubber band, or wire my mouth shut after surgery. So yes, there are alternatives to having wire braces with jaw surgery, but only a surgeon or orthodontist could help you find what would work best for you with your veneers. Hope this helps!

      If you have a perfect bite, yes. This surgery is also done for sleep apnea, in those cases they don't use braces (if the patient has a good bite).

      Over the last 15 years I have had over 16 surgeries all over my body (arthritis and a bad motorbike accident), 2 of my grandchildren died, my daughter died, my son is in psychosis from drugs, but GOD has been with me through all this and I know GOD is Good.
      This sinful world is bad, that is why JESUS needed to come to us, this will all be over one day and we will be changed forever, old bad things will be forgotten we will have eternity in a perfect place with our perfect GOD.
