A good way to defeat the convoys is to make like 3 snare bombs from wire and a grenade. Place them ahead of the convoy on the road and find a good snipe location. It usally kills all but 3 or 4.
The Stalker backpack is the one that holds 2 guns. Pistols fit in any backpack. Stalker can hold 2 guns of any type except for long rifles like the SVD, Barrett, and the long Mosin. The Mosin-K carbine fits though cause it's shorter, but you can't put a scope on that one.
@@Kal_RP Unless somethings changed since the last time I played, you can fit an RPK or MG36 and another gun too. Not sure where you got that info from but it's incorrect.

I am an oldtimer, in he's 50s still playing and things can sometimes be overwhelming 😃😃😃 and my son is a little bit to young for this type of games and is more in to Minecraft. Looking in to survival games and Deadside caught my eye because of the PVE and the not zombie liked missions in it.

I think It's left shift or left control but it doesn't work very well so it's best to take your time and land a good first shot but pause the game and go to your controls settings and it should show you the key to use or set.
When I last played you would start with a knife in your inventory, you would use the knife to chop at a bush to get sticks and for the backpack you just need to look around or buy one from the shop if they let you. I can’t remember if the shop lets you buy backpacks still or not. I will be making a new video here soon for the updates I will look into this
I spawned "naked and afraid" for the first time half an hour ago. I couldn't figure out how to pick up an ammo clip after using all my bullets in the pistol I found. Am I supposed to just drop the empty clip to pick up the new one since I have no extra slots? Related, how would I replace my pistol with one the bot I killed had?
So I’ve been reading your message to try to understand what you are asking so if I’m wrong sorry but what I think you are asking is how do you get clothing when you kill a bad guy ai or human you can pick up there clothing by searching them it will open your inventory also and you put their clothing on your guys shirt and paints slot for ammo each gun uses its own ammo you can go to the gun you got and see what the ammo is if you don’t have the ammo on your guy you can’t reload if the gun has a magazine under it that is a “mod” for that gun. I hope this helped if not maybe we can set up a time to get on sometime soon and I can show you the basics of the game.
@@deadymonkgaming9652 Being the very first time I ever playing, I had no new clothing, so default two slots from what I read. In this situation I used a pistol to kill some AI then ran out of ammo. While under fire, I went back to the table where I found the pistol so that I could replace the empty clip with the one on the table. What should I have done to replace the empty clip from the one on the table, since there were no empty slots? Hope that reads more clearly. Thanks.

There shouldn’t be a clip or mag to change when you found your gun there may have been ammo on the able with the gun you should have picked that up if you have ammo in your inventory you can reload with R on keyboard I believe but there are no mags or clips to be had like dayz and stuff like that if it will help you we can set a day to jump on for a few minutes I can show you around and how to play if that would help you?
There are server wipes it depends on the server I believe but mostly when there is a big update but if you bring your gear to the safe zone that tends to be safe from the wipe
A lot of good information but as a consumer one thing I would recommend is to do the research and speak with confidence. when you say ur not sure or ur not positive or i haven't tested it, it makes ur video hard to put faith in. Even if you misspeak on a topic just come back and fix it after the fact but you should speak with confidence in the future.
There’s no reason to play this game in single player/dead server, it’s extremely easy to get the best gear in under an hour and after that if you don’t PVP there’s no point in playing, nothing to do
I started playing a dead server because I wanted to experience the game it's a grate game without having to deal with pvp. Everybody has their own preference if you enjoy pvp then grate.
The PVE servers are great for those of us just learning to play these types of games. The AI are very challenging and they have helped me with my confidence under fire. BTW, it is not extremely easy to get the best gear if you're not good at the game. You just provide dog tags to the seasoned players over and over again. lol

Default voice chat toggle is F6. Even with a walkie, though, it only works up close.

Yeah - left shift, but you only get a second or so of steady during holding your breath

"hard cover" "soft cover" - cover vs concealment
Cover is something that would stop the bullet concealment is not bulletproof you are just hiding out of sight of the shooter.

No sadly not but you can find a empty server or host one and that's how I tend to play just on a empty server
You can play server when you play only with bots and other players cant kill you PVE server
If you ever played on a dayz server with no zombies, it's like that, just looks shittier.
