Anyway, a nephew of mine was supposed to meet us there, so I told him to meet us at The Blue Oyster Club as a joke and to ask around where it was. Well he did ask around, he asked many people if they know where the Blue Oyster Club was and everyone laughed at him. He wasn't too happy when he finally met us inside the club. Someone told him what that was. I can't believe he hadn't heard of the Blue Oyster! To this day, we still make fun of him.
Shame his NFL career was cut short by an injury! He was a dlineman for the Baltimore colts!he got injured by a marker or something on the sidelines! NFL changed the design to make it safer!Rip in peace big guy!

Funny thing, there was a Sea Food- Salad bar in the 70s and 80s in Houston called the Blue Oyster Bar. Use to be off the Gulf Freeway between Broadway and Bellfort exit. Now its a carpet and tile place.
My cousin and I would laugh our heads off to this when we was kids. Those of us who grew up with cousins that was more like brothers is really something. We loved police academy. I miss laughing with you bro. R.I.P😢
