Of course there is always replays, but the LIVE action is best. Today’s coverage is sensational and the vast majority of the top action is captured by the excellent TV directors. Those who think the Directors and FOM do an incompetent job are spoiled and need a lesson and a reminder in how it was before. And that footage is out there on this very RUclips platform.

big Verstappen fan here. Gotta be honest here. Absolutely brilliant drive from Hamilton. Keeping pressure and hats off to the Merc strategist. Great race!
I think Lewis did drive better . It's already difficult to overtake in Hungary and the attempts he made were great. The fact that *james* being a great strategist just helped Lewis to overtake .
I am not a Hamilton fan (Verstappen fan), but hats off to him and the Mercedes team. I think in race pace both cars were similar, but on that bold strategic move Mercedes took a well deserved win. I hope we will have more of these battles to come in the 2nd half of the season! I hope RBR and Honda improve further and that we have a 70 lap fight for first! F1 is fun again!
I don't think it was "a bold strategic move": if Hamilton didn't pit he would've stayed behind and his tyres would've been shredded until he fell back anyway. The large gap to 3rd meant there was absolutely no disadvantage to pitting either. Really, it was more of a mistake by Red Bull's strategists: Max hit the performance cliff of his tyres before the end of the race, he didn't have a chance without pitting. If Max pitted to cover off Hamilton, there'd have likely been more of a battle, but honestly I'd have expect Hamilton to have won anyway (unless he made more mistakes). The RBR Honda is a lot more reliable, but it's not as relatively fast as the Renault was.
@@daniellee4003 Really the entire result was out of Red Bull's control the *moment* that Leclerc dropped past that magic 20 second gap mark. From then on, Mercedes could do (and did) whatever they want with basically no regard for track position whatsoever. He wanted to do what Hamilton did with Mercedes. I see no shame in trying that. If he stayed with RB he would most likely be second fiddle to max. He is team leader at Renault. Also can afford to eat out occasionally

Nah, RedBull's strategy was safe. Hamilton had a slightly quicker car for the race and was able to pressure Verstappen enough to really hurt him towards the end. Where their strategy failed was not having a good driver in the other car! This situation right here is why Gasly is being swapped out, they needed someone in P3 to pressure Hamilton when his car started over heating and to deny him that last pit stop.
Prancing Horse fan here. We used to have that kind of bold and calculated call for the pit back then, complement with decent pitstop. Time sure flies so fast.

That's the spirit! I'm a Hamilton fan, but Verstappen is just magical! He deserved that win, too!
The Red Bull was and stays a little bit slower
@Todor Samardzhiev seriously??!!
@Todor Samardzhiev and the salary at redbull?
Can you imagine being RICCIARDO at 3:06 and watching that entire battle live😂
He is like: ' oh fuck, I could've been there too.' While he is looking at his slow renault.

getting lapped by max must’ve given him one hell of a tummy ache
He really deserves a better vehicle
@@Flalaski he had one and left himself, max was to fast for him
This is one of the most stressful races I have ever watched .. redbull’s strategy was a flop ..also lewis went full on savage closing the gap quickly
I mean. If Lewis wasn’t a legitimate predator on the prowl Red Bull’s strategy could work.
Most strategists would peg that race as a one stop race, Mercedes went bold and by the time max got back around the window had already shut he would have come out in 2nd.
Any other driver in that merc and red bull would have won
Dighug ,, really?!!! Two words Gasly & Bottas .. lewis has an undeniable talent and determination .. combine that with a reliable tool like “ the merc “ it’s a recipe for success ... the real shame in F1 actually is williams they have 2 great talents and a shitty car .
We all saw a race that included
A champion vs A future Champion
the Alonso - Schumacher of this decade
Prancing Horse fan here. We used to have that kind of bold and calculated call for the pit back then, complement with decent pitstop. Time sure flies so fast.
@Gary Garratt Ferrari's management talent is probably the biggest yoke in f1 today. just kidding, Forze Stroll is still running, but after that...
Meister Fadj. One name. Ross Brawn. Genius tactician.
Why did Ferrari fail to win the title in 2017? Because they don't have somebody like Ross Brawn at the helm. And Vettel isn't "kind of" like Schumacher. Not even close.
Didnt feel like it was 70 laps. What a race before the break.
Big ups for McLaren. Where were Ferrari tho? Great race nonetheless. Cant wait for Spa, Monza etc.
Ferrari had a good race and did not expect to win or even be close. We all expected this
Aizat Sham Vettels a bottle job and Leclerc is the most overrated driver ever
@@madaboutf1707 Yeah no, the car isn't there.
@@lucaparkes6966 they didnt expect to be more than a minut off pace??
@@dendankegamer Considering that both Ferrari's were almost HALF A SECOND slower than Max, Bottas and Hamilton... It's understandable that they would finish WAY behind... The car is WAY too shit at slow and mid speed corners, it's only the best car in acceleration due to it's highest power, but it still lacks reliability. A Mclaren is probably as good as the Ferrari when it comes to cornering speed.
TRENDING ON GAMING.
"Whoa, these F1 games are getting too realistic"
Every time Hamilton throws his trophy i have an anxiety attack
He will drop it one day. It's inevitable.
Nikhil Repalle so does Toto I bet 😱
Same lol, if he dropped this one it would've shattered to peaces lmao, imagine the scenes.
Futt Bucker Snowflake
Every big tourny I know of has duplicates on every trophy. I imagine a billion dollar industry has a few extra as well.
