    Brother I spent half your video just hearing how good you are. May be next time just start with what’s fake and what’s real and that’s how you show ppl how good you are. Cheers

    Turkmenistan isn't a part of China... it's its own country on the Caspian Sea... part of the original Persian Empire.

    I was very much amazed to find out that Pakistan highest export of carpet is to Turkey. Like really why? They buy good quality cheap rugs from Pakistan and sale in Turkey. Yes that's totally true. Turkish people are largest carpet buyer in Pakistan. Pakistanis are like give us every design we would make it for it. And they would label It made in Turkey too. But made in Pakistan. This was surprising because turkey was largest producer of carpets

      Hi Monique,
      I made a video about pictorial Tabriz rugs and featured this large piece. Here is the link and if you skip to the 10:00, you will see me describe it.
      It is an extremely fine Tabriz rug that I feature in my private section of my website and it is a very expensive and exclusive piece.
      For more information about it, feel free to email me through our website at MPrugs.com

    Has the dramatic decline in the value of the Turkish lira seen a corresponding reduction in the price of Turkish carpets to US buyers?

    • @mprugs
      @mprugs  2 года назад

      Hi,
      Due to my specialty in older pieces and specially the ones that are no longer produced like the Ozipek, I have not seen a downward pricing in those rugs as the demand is larger than the supply.

    Turkmenistan is a country..not in China!..lol The question is if both are hand-made silk rugs, why the made in Turkey ones should command more money albeit thicker and heavier as durability is not really an issue here?

    Excellent professional videos. My ONLY recommendation will be to avoid repeating the same point over and over gain like these 2 are Turkish and the other 2 Chinese- felt like you repeated the point 5 times which becomes annoying.

      Specially when the 2 Chinese one if handmade are probably not from China
