The beacon mode for this flashlight is actually called locator beacon. The function of this mode is, while you in the dark, trying to sleep or you know there gonna be storm coming, your house is out of power or something, you gonna activate the locator beacon, just to find your flashlight easily in the dark
My old phones still hold a charge on the batteries. My old flashlights with sealed batteries are dead, with the exception of my Imalent MS18, which has a replaceable battery pack housing.
CHRISPY Things, Flashlight Reviewer extraordinaire! Another good review. I have to say, I never thought I would, but I am about done with NiteCore. I know I am with NiteCore Store! Anyways, I digress… I have but this to offer; FENIX LR35R! Pheeeeeenominal light! 10,000 lumens, that will hold that level over two minutes. Yes, it gets rather toasty, but the two 21700 batteries can be charged two ways, and it fits in hand/pocket no problem. You may have reviewed it, I’m not sure, but if you haven’t, please do! Stay safe! 👍👍👍✌🔦
Not being able to use the 12K lumens mode for longer then 5 min is a deal breaker for me. Nitcore have to many of these short therm turbo lights. When you look at Olight... There you can really use the turbo mode fore a usable amount of time.
That spec sheet🙄 so it's effectively a 1000 lumen light with just over a 1000CD for 71m throw. Come on, these spec are horrible and makes this light a gimmick. Haven't watched the entire video yet but guessing the 12k is for like 7 secs.

Check out the Sofirn Q8 PLUS if you want a budget friendly flashlight that could run longer on turbo.

For blinding a threatning guy, just with a few bursts, it will not empty the battery in less than a few minutes?

Actually it’s for marking spots. So you can get back to your tent or hunting blind and such at night.
@KandiKlover that is also true
Great review as always. Nice light but that non replaceable battery is a deal-breaker.
Do you replace the battery in your phone? No? Then why would this light be a problem?

I change phone often with new tech. Flashlight should last forever.
@@youthmanyt Flashlight should last forever? Really? Unreasonable expectations.
@@nates6595 So, what is your point?
I had a feeling you were in WNY somewhere, I'm in OP. Love your reviews!
Thanks!

So between tm112k and edc27… which one to choose ?
TM12K
I’ve been told that the edc 27 isn’t very good and has some problems
how long is the running time for high 1500 and high 2000?
5 second's.. terrible waste of money. Turns on while in pocket..... beware
TM12k or Falcon X1?
Anyone says X1 is better than TM12k
Классный фонарик. Дороговато только.

Youre basically right on Studat. Check out the FENIX LR35R, a superior light, IMO! CHRISPY did a review on it too. Peace!
@@georgedavall9449 I have the lr35r, it is much better, you are right.
I prefer my MS03 13000 lumens
And its cheaper!
and shines one eye blink period :-D
Mso3 is bright but poor quality, it feels like rubbish and the batteries are junk. One trick pony
Its over priced and gimmicky
