" CRASH INVESTIGATION " FLIGHT TV SHOW FATAL B-47 CRASH EPISODE 82744

This black & white film is an episode from the short-lived TV series FLIGHT, Season 1, episode 15 entitled 'Crash Investigation.' This aired in 1958 and was directed by Jean Yarbrough. The plot centers around the crash of a B-47 Stratojet from the Strategic Air Command. The crash is being investigated by Lt. Col. Murray. The episode stars Robert Gist as Murray, Arthur Hanson as Fuller, John Eldredge as Thompson, Robert Karnes as Lt. Col. Edwards, Sue England as Polly, and Grant Withers as Col. Raymond. The episode was written by John Meredeth Lucas.

Are you confusing it with the prototype XB-52 which also had the original tandem cockpit ? I admit I always thought the B-47 WAS the ancestor of the B-52 based on the cockpit and twin engine pods.
