So many people are bent out of shape over whether or not they are Visual Kei... hahaha, yes and no but who cares it's just a look. this whole bs is why bands like Dir En Grey, GaZettE, and others are starting to shift away from the look, it's a selling point that people use to define what they put out to the world.
Obviously you don't listen to much visual kei. lol They aren't dominantly vk, but they do fit into that genre. Have you seen their outfits? All you have to do is go to google and search "Deathgaze visual kei." Now, go do your own research before you assume someone else hasn't done theirs. :)
back around 2005 when i got into the whole visual kei thing, they described "Nagoya kei" as bands with a darker style of music under the "visual kei umbrella", like Oshare kei was more about bright colors and tons of accessories
no. visual kei is a style and it'snorm in 80', and others are SUB parts which are caraterized by/city,music,visual style,appereance of band and their themes, you have many sub cathegories as Kono Buzoggou desribed some of them.

Visual kei (no Shibuya) are bands who came from Tokyo. "Nagoya kei" are bands from Nagoya. This is not a style, just a geographic situation.
