@rashard418 Fantasia was doing runs from 2:35-2:42 from 2:44 to 2:50 kelly is singing the loudest/highest note in the group harmony. Fantasia's voice is less deeper than that last note. Kelly just slowly pushes her mic outward to the side to create a fading effect. A lot of vocalists do that.
I listened to Delta cause she's one of my favorite singers and her version is perfect. I think that AI version would be better if only sing Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood, the others to them houses
Kelly clarkson obviously was the star of that, especially with the high note that none of the others could have hit. she has the most range and talent and i dont care what anyone else says, she TECHNICALLY has the best voice of them all.

No, Kelly has never had problems with FOX. The reason she never came back for a results show until season 8 is because she was usually on tour overseas or really busy making a record during seasons 3 to 7. She did come back for the season 3 finale and in season 6 for Idol Gives Back & the finale that year. And it was season 8 when she came back to sing MLWSWY:)

@revenantmedia00 Adam said only the winners were initially invited and that all of them singing together like that was a last minute thing. he was only asked to sit in the audience so he didnt go cuz he was rehearsing for his tour. turned out any of the former cast invited to sit in the audience were later asked to sing. thats why Jennifer Hudson, Clay Aiken and Chris Daughtry werent there either, cuz they had no idea about it.

i don't think american idol's ever been about picking the best singer. i think it's been about, yes, talent, but also musical style and who america liked in terms of personality. it was about finding an entertainer, and only the sales can prove who's been more successful (since everyone's gonna have their own opinions over who is better); i like them all! :)

Kelly was nominated for foreign "grammys" like the Brits and the Junos. Kelly had a #1 in the world charts and she is the only American idol to have a #1 in the UK.
