- How to Create a Unique and Memorable Brand in Two Words
A Simple Trick for Making Your Brand More Memorable
How to Excite and Intrigue with Your Two-Word Brand
In this video, Chris Do discusses the difficulty of coming up with a brand identity, particularly when it comes to creating a two-word brand that is unique and memorable. He suggests that instead of using adjectives, people should consider using a noun that reflects their truth. Do provides an example of someone in his community who described themselves as a "world-class hugger," and notes that such a description is both unique and attention-grabbing. He cautions that a two-word brand is not meant to be everything, but rather a hook to begin a conversation. Do emphasizes the importance of creating a powerful hook that excites people and intrigues them, rather than immediately turning them off with a monologue. He recommends the book "Pop" by Sam Horn as a useful resource for developing clever and effective ways to describe one's brand. Finally, Do explains how adding a twist to a familiar idea can make it unique and help it stand out from the competition.

It’s hard for me to listen to people but I am automatically drawn to Chris’ knowledge and intelligence. Glad I found him and, subsequently, this channel as a resource.
Thank you 🙏
Everyone is going to walk out of that room a ‘Brand Whisperer’ 😂
Haha. Maybe.
Chris is one of those guys, I CANT get enough of his content.
Good one Chris:
Hence "The Brandfather..."
On my resume I put that I'm a "check twice cutter" on the tag line. It emphasizes that I'm so paranoid/anxious about my work that I double check everything but in a positive light.
I see it as you are detail oriented and make sure things are done correctly the first time.
memorable.
just had a light-bulb moment casually listening to this. Thank you Chris and your team for the work you guys do!
This is a great method to move away from the commodity realm. Repackaging and adding unique value. Thank you!
I love the idea of taking something simple, and adding a twist
Annoyingly early. I think being prepared and on time is probably the most important thing for me. At the same time people who don't respect other people's time can sometime make me so frustrated.
Love ur content man. I've been learning so much from you. Best wishes from Brazil!
Tô aqui lendo seu comentário também.... 😁
If only I was a copywriter… I would definitely use ‘pulp friction’!
Excellent.
Unapologetically unorthodox are the two words that I've always used for my personal brand.
Good one
I dont like unorthodox word
Thank you 🤜🤛
Thank you
Toooooooo good
Awesome
Great video!!!
Thank you!!
❤ 💯
Little disappointed I don’t get to carry around a giant hammer with +100 lighting dmg, but I like the twist
OH EM GEE! 💜
I can’t stop my self from clicking when ever I see Chris. Guys, does anybody knows how can I find that exact board for my Classes? Thanks from a Transformative Chilean Facilitator
I don't know the brand of board either. but it's basically any surface that can hold giant flip charts.
@@thefutur thanks! I’ll keep looking
This is good. But I got to watch it again. Like keeping the repeat button on repeat.
Haha.
👍🌟
this is great bro
What if a community has given u a 2 name brand - should u change it or follow their lead if it’s not completely who u want to be?
if it's not aligned with who you are, then work on changing that perception. out of curiosity, what's the 2 words they've given you?
@@thefutur it’s surface level but I would like more intrinsic level. It’s the Cr8zy Sock Lady.
Hi, i couldn't catch what you said at 1:28 after "so what i tell people '____' 'what? Tell me mor! "
I am a loud introvert
what about brand hypnotist
I recently started calling myself "The Cigar Smoking Brand Strategist" which is accurate, but feels kind of gimmicky/cliche. Any advice on how I could tweak that?
How does that add value to you?
@@thefutur I'm not sure. I'm trying to find a way to stand out from the other 1.3 bazillion brand strategists and trying to build some kind of personal brand to do it. Kind of like the girl who is a "world class hugger" I'm just trying to find something about myself that doesn't necessarily have anything to do with my work but makes me different from others.
@@JamesWelbes Well her hugging ability probably does play into her brand as it exudes empathy and customer care most likely. Maybe the cigar part plays a roll in the level of luxury quality you offer. However you'd have to do some customer teaching on your website to sort of give them that idea I'd assume.
Every Card Has Value =]
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
That was Tedx talk. Just a correction
What do you think about “Visual story interpreter” or “Visual idea interpreter” ? I’m a cinematographer who specializes in helping small businesses, entrepreneurs and artists create visual content that helps tell their story and get their message across to their desired audience.
"Catch me if you brand"?
Nice
@@thefuturyou don’t believe that
I'm an anti-sales salesperson, how about this one?
I like it. What are other ways of saying this?
I'm a Chris simp
A what?
@@thefutur a simp is a stan but lamer. It’s self deprecating
hey i used to like your channel but nowadays its all about branding teach us about more concepts
Take "God is a designer" to "God is the designer" and you've got something to hang your hat on.
What happen to going on faith with what you believe works for you and just bet on yourself? All of this critical thinking and word manipulation is bs. If the work is good. Ima call my brand w.e the hell i want.
Do what makes you happy.
The most gimmicky and cliched advice I've heard in a while
Awesome
