Amazing thanks
I think more machetes could use being .25" thick
I agree homie
And done, love the finish on the blade🇺🇸
It's gorgeous!!
Very good/thorough review. I purchased this Ape-x based on your review. Thank you!
I really appreciate that man! It always means a lot to me when people say that it's kind of humbling to be honest with you
Absolutely love the shoulder harness rig!
Big fan of the harness!!
Ok, i need that blade in my life 👊👍👍🇺🇸
Get To The Choppa. Great job 👏
Thank you sir!
In my opinion I find that it is an over built parang. I live in southern Louisiana and my favorite go to knives when going out in the swamps is a parang or kukri. When I saw this thing I had to get one not just for the blade itself, but also the sheath. It's the full package and well worth the money payed for it.
Absolutely agree my friend. It's a heavy hitter and I absolutely agree about the complete package
That is an absolute BEAST......
I was going to pull the trigger & buy myself one but then I saw the upcoming 12" Nomad. I LOVE that design so will be holding out & getting that one instead.
That'll be a great pic up!!
Love it
Thank you brother
Now that's freaking awesome brother!!!!
Thank you my brother ❤️
That's a great design on the blade....beast mode activated
Julio DIEZ really is a dude we need to have on man. He is the designer of not only this but the plan A Bowie by Condor
Love your videos scab! Might have to pick this one up due to your awesome tests on this blade! Keep on keeping on brother!
Ooooooo HELL YES SON! That’s some deep deep steeped in bad assery son! Can’t wait till that shit drops!!
that is one helluva blade
Yes sir it is
Wow that blade ate that wood 4x4. I liked that background test environment. Really old and industrial looking.
It is a great design!
👍
MY GOD!!!!
Da crusha!!
I can’t believe you just ruined a completely good 4by4 lol 😂
That looks like something Jason would carry. Friday the 13th!
Hard to believe it cut that paper after the wood. Definitely a beast
Just don't tell my boss LOL
That thing is a badass Friday the 13th beast! WTG Blackbeard Cutlass! Man that thing is slicy as well! Stabs far better than it should with that tip shape. Awesome demo of a great Julio Diaz design, and WTG blade.
Absolutely Amazing blade my brother ❤️
Amazing knife brother 🔥
Just Badassery is what it is!! Brother fantastic video and at 1/4' thick blade stock i would call this a Saber for sure. Just a awesome beast..
Appreciate you my brother and always much love!
Ok, this blade is great!😁
Thank you Mr VLAD!!!
Its awesome that we get to see these in action before they are even released.
Hopefully it will be releasing very soon!
Awesome chopper , bad to the bone 💀 thanks for sharing , God bless brother ! #22aday #22adaynomore
Thank you my brother!
Brought out the beast for a session it sure blew threw that 4x4 pretty easy. It's a hell of a big knife that's for sure it reminds me of a Kopis short sword their usually around a 16-inch blade and shaped very similar to this. I like this one could have a lot of fun in the woods with it for sure. Thanks for the review of this beast yep I'll be getting one.✌
Lmao ya need one brother!!
I'm right with you on this one Scab. This is either a really big ass knife or a short sword. All the machetes I've seen are thinner and lighter so that when you are trekking through the jungle you can swing for hours without getting so fatigued. I don't think a machete would chop such big logs as well as this does but I'm no expert.
Lmao whatever it is it works!
Stout very well made! I like that design!!
I'm a huge fan of it brother
🔥🔥🔥Work Tuff Gear will be in my arsenal some day🔥🔥🔥
It's a must have
Lol a saber yes that's a good title for it I've been calling mine a pirate sword since I first saw it and I carry it around kind of like a pirate sword too
Lmao love it!!
That a hitter right there 👌 wtg handles Def look like they work for the tool not jus one fat handle every design
You now are a Honorary Canadian Lumberjack !!!!!!! 👍👍👍Good job 🇨🇦🇨🇦🪓🪓⚔️
Much appreciated my brother!!
Looks like a Persian sword I can’t wait for mine to get here they are still available.
Woot woot
Just a freaking beautiful piece of cutlery right here. My friend, nothing but respect big man, #22nomore 🇺🇸✌,
Much love my brother!
Great review, Brother !!!
Nice blade too !!!
It looks like a Swashbuckling Cutlass....in my opinion.
Keep up the great work !!!
I agree my brother!!
wow, just wow. And I thought my Kershaw Camp 10 was something. This Julio is definitely a beast.
It is a monster!
That thing looks like a slicing monster!
It is wicked brother
Hey Scab, I was going to call this a machete but looks incredibly sharp! But strong as! Work Tuff Gear is top quality! Thanks for sharing Dave
Thank you Dave. With it being a quarter inch thick I'm not sure
@@choirboyzcutleryoutdoors I am no expert on machetes Scab. I own a few but honestly don’t carry them much. But I have a thick blade Kukhri House Survival Kukhri which is quite good. Hard call I guess. In the jungle I would carry my army issue Golock! God Bless Dave
Dude ...I gotta have it! Thanks for the awesome video.
This one is badass man
@@choirboyzcutleryoutdoors are they all made in Taiwan, my brother? Just a curiosity. Edit: I just found my answer. It was easy to Google 🤣
@@apex_alchemy_knives yessssirrrr.. I'm a huge supporter of taiwanese made knives..
@@choirboyzcutleryoutdoors some of the best spyderco knives are made in the same city. 🤘💪
SON !!! That thing is a Choppa !!!
Beast mode Brudda
Whoa daddy look at dem chunks a fly'n right off the rip!
Beast Blade!!
That's no machete with that thick blade stock. I can't wait to score one!
It's a BEAST
I really like so of the stuff work tuff makes but they are either $300 or damn near impossible to get.
I don't understand how a knife made overseas should cost 200+ .
The knife industry has become ridiculous. These are production knives made in mass.
Just gonna have to make my own. Got me a bunch of 1974 chrysler springs. Which means American made steel 5160. Probably made from Bethlehem steel.
I'm sure American 5160 heat treated individually will make a bad ass blade. Maybe I need to make a video.
If you make one send it to me I'd love to see it brother the video not the knife! He treated American 5160 would be badass man really curious to see what you come up with
Holy cow that thing rivals an axe
Hits HARD!!
Not heavy but swings heavy = weight forward, perfect for hacking arms - legs uh I mean brush for example. 🇺🇸💪🗡
Brush for hacking brush!! If someone's arm gets in the way well that's on them
Scab you need to put up some affiliate links for worktop gear some of these places where we get our knives we need to know where we can purchase this stuff
Ron let me work on that buddy. If you are on Facebook the work Tuff Gear adventure team is an open group where you can get first-hand information if you're not on Facebook I will make sure I start posting it in my community pages and in the description
APE-X... I think someone could go ape shit with this damn thing! #22aday until #0aday #22adaynomore 🇺🇸💪🗡
I think someone has!!
@@choirboyzcutleryoutdoors 🤣🤣🤣🤣
hey scabba i have a suggestion. i think u should use phonebook paper rather than printer paper as phonebook paper is thinner and the knife needs to be sharper. 2nd i would suggest for the ending edge test to not strop beforehand
I don't stop before the end test. I have a phone book coming it's crazy you should mention that man great suggestion
What I was saying for this particular video is I did the initial sharpness test papercut etc. Then I deleted it on accident. So then I dropped the knife and did the opening scene. It is a little confusing but bottom line is I screwed up
I absolutely always welcome suggestions that's how we grow and make the channel better so thank you brother appreciate you
@@choirboyzcutleryoutdoors absolutely love that mentality man u r quite inspiring. i gotcha now so the deleted footage caused a little confusion
Hey I'll be your guest on worktuff Wednesday if you ever need somebody I'm not famous but I'll be there 😂😂😂
Hell yeah man
@@choirboyzcutleryoutdoors lol I meant to put this on the worktuff Wednesday video guess that's what I get for watching it on my TV and trying to find it on my phone at the same time lol
Great looking knife/machete. I am not sure either.
Lol I'm perplexed
I was also interested in what kind of slingshot you have ?
Brother I have a couple of them I will get the info on them for you
What type of oil do you use on your blades? Do you store any in leather sheaths? Does it cause rust issues?
I use Eagle Tears Blade Paste. Never have a problem. Living in Florida it's always a concern
@@choirboyzcutleryoutdoors Do you think it’s safe to store blades in their leather sheath? I am planning to pick up the Zombie Tools Felon and want to get a leather sheath for it. But it will be sitting most of the time.
Can it still cut paper easily after all that abuse, though 🤔
Ive never seen a machete of that Latin like shape that was that thick. However I have seen some South East Asian machete that were that thick.
I think Julio mixed a little cultures and flare here
Did you like the Wilson or the Apex better?
Yes
That’s what Alladin would carry if he was from the biyou!!
Absolutely!
Scab you look like a bear in the woods ripping down trees I don’t think anyone would mess with your brother.
Lmao You never can tell brother
Ape x vs Medford s7 machete?
Ooooo might have to happen
Too thick to be a machete in my opinion, not that it really matters. That thing is just too cool for school. I could probably retire my most used machete and most used axe with that.
It's just an absolute Beast Man absolute Beast
