I used to have a kit of Com-U-Let Caps back in "65" along with my flights flying off a warehouse up in the Bx, yet these look a little different those were short faces much like the "Pinson Roller" with a lite stone ash color. Awesome flyers when they routed across the Bronx, they were not readily available unless a breeder was located and willing to sell. Nice birds, too bad there are falcons and hawks around where i live. Thx for the vid.
What times are you getting from them , I've have read in times gone by they were capable of doing 10 hour flights . Good to see they are still around . I would keep this type of pigeon in a heart beat . All the best from the land down under .
The most I got from them is 4 hours never had them fully healthy hopefully this year I get to see if I get more time out of them I also heard they fly for 12 hours that would be something to see and accomplished
I like the stance and the look of these they also have great eyes. They look like mine but most of mine have red on the necks and at the end of some flights but i have pure white also. This is my first year of flying and they are going high for 4.30mins
They are the king of all pigeons there bloods is in the racing pigeons tipplers pigeons ny flights and so on cumulets are the king pigeons and they do it all in the air
I thought this breed was extinct? I had a cumulet hen when I was a kid in Bklyn. It mated up with a Canadian tipplet, I'd like to get some of these and some clean flying flights!
They are consider high flying pigeons … I hear they were used to make a few breed of pigeons like the tippers, New York flying flights and baldies and homers because of there flying endurance. Here is a article I found there are several pigeonpedia.com/tippler-pigeons/
en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?search=Cumulet+pigeon&title=Special%3ASearch&profile=default&fulltext=1&ns0=1 here is another one cumulets are most of the most truly pure bread pigeons… and I found articles were they say that the cumulets are also crossed but what pigeon breeds are crossed🤔
@@gothamsbirdman9500 I think I have two that are mixed with that breed that has discoloration in the beak and some little spots I believe they may be related one is very with the other has some spots
No!! This birds are of a few original breeds story is these were used to make the the flights and tipplers and other breeds … they foundation to other breeds
