My life got changed 4 years ago .. I caught a autoimmune disease, and got forced to find new ways In life, to be able to function as normally as possible .🙈
It went ok with treatment and training for a few years, but then came Covid..😝🤪 My health stumbled while gyms were closed, and suddenly my pains became unbearable during October 2021..🥵😅
It has been 10 months, since my health collapsed on me..😅
Life has been a roller coaster between ups and downs, struggles and pain..🤪
Luckily, I have been surrounded by awesome people, encouraging me to fight for my life!❤️
Amazing doctors, physicians and psychiatrist has done a lot for me, while my family has been my motivation to get better!😍
My last 6 weeks has been a surprise for me. After being enlisted at a work related recovery program, several great physiotherapist has helped me to get free of my chronic pain!🥳 So for 3 weeks, I have been mesmerized by life without pain and suffering!😅
8 month’s of workouts has at last made me strong enough 😄
I’m finally ready to start “work practice “ to find out what I’m capable of with my “new” physique!🙃
So this is finally it!!😍 I’m out of the gym, and at last in an excavator again!
I am aiming for 8 hours at work this week, and then I hope for progression during these next 6 weeks, so I hopefully can endure a full shift of loading as I used to!🙃

Well, it is what it is, and one just have to make the best of things.🙃
These last years has been a challenge, and I was about to give up, but I have amazing people around me, who has been very good at motivating me to push myself upwards!🥰
I am currently on a all time high when it comes to both my mental state and physique!😍 So all the pain is gone, and I’m really glad that I have been pushing myself even when it was hard and painful!😅
I will make a series of videos of my attempt on my comeback, I hope they will be interesting even without the size of machines that I used to operate!🙃 But my goal is to climb into a large cat again, just has to climb the latter first..😄

@@norwegianearthmovers Keep your head up and never give up. I have been battling severe neurological issues associated to my post-47 years traumatic Spinal Cord Injury(motorcycle accident.) At 68 years old, I just keep working and sticking with what I can do and not what I can't do. Press on and know that your dedication to your occupation is admirable.

I haven’t exactly promoted my disease earlier, but I have felt this urge for revealing my struggles in case it could inspire others.🫢😄
In all my treatments, I always hear that most people don’t talk about their issues and problems. In my mind, struggles get less painful when people know about my issues, so that I don’t feel the need to camouflage my suffering!😅 This is a rough business, where a lot of people expose themselves to hazards and health issues, but they don’t talk about to to find new solutions before it’s too late. I have been there and done that several times myself, but that’s history, now I want to be open and transparent!😄

Hehe, I do my best to balance my efforts right..😅 It is hard to accomplish even with help both at home, at work and with my physiotherapist..😂 It is just so fun to function well again, and the difference now compared to 6 weeks ago, is just mind blowing!😍🥳
So I’m very grateful for the opportunity I had, joining this work related recovery program, the people at that health institution is just awesome!🤩
Two more weeks with them now, then I’m suddenly on my own again..😄 But I have a great dialogue with my employer, so we have started to plan my return now!🥳

I'm sorry to hear about your struggle with health, and I hope you see a full and prosperous recovery. My brother has an autoimmune disease and he was very unwell with it for a number of years. You can do it man. Keep pushing!
