- Maia Amai was badly burned in a car fire, spending most of her life in the shadows of others. She began to find a newfound confidence when her best friend and carer Letitia, introduced her to Wheelchair Rugby.

she's not fragile per se, but she just seems fragile, not in a bad way. she's timid and passive, and quiet and has a calming voice. she seems like an amazing young lady. she's the definition of beautiful, inside and out.

That is what friendship truly is...Maia and Letitia & Letitia and Maia. TG for true, kind and generous souls on this planet. It takes so much work to be a true friend and to invest this type of time on another human, but the payoff....priceless, rare and kismet.
So thrilled to see this update. These two women are AWESOME! So good to see Maiz has gained in confidence and freedom and the pipes on Letitia, wow, hope she makes an album. Her voice is just amazing.

So glad they updated this glad they gave her a sporty intro where she looks super badass and she is with the burns as sever as they are pushing a wheel chair through rugby must hurt alot in the hand area and she does it without complaining like a ninja just super badass makes me thankfull for my little issues and also makes me feel like an absolute whimp because I would crumble dealing with a mile in her shoes

Geez man shes had it rough and thats a mega understatement! Burnt as a baby then gets paralysed from complications then loses a leg later and a tumour on her pancreas.
