- How to clear a cloudy pool in 24 hours (flocculant).
After building nearby, the pool got considerably cloudy from the cement and sand that blew into the pool.
In this video i show how to vacuum your pool floor.

I’m new to the pool ownership ... I have a salt water pool... I can only use the vacuum with my pump at speed 4 (max) so that It creates suction ... is the vacuum u have different from that?

If I have a cyclone filter before my pump do you think I could vaccum without going to waste and put it through the sand filter?
I replaced the sand a few weeks ago and my pool remains green. I bought all the chemicals and I am going to use this method now. Wish me luck.... ps I will give you feedback in 2 days time....

Excellent video. I have a above ground pool 15ft dianeter with a bestway 1500 ghp sand pump. To remove the sediments I need to put the filter in the bashwash mode? Or I can use a intex vaccum? Does it also remove the algae in the process?

I have green dust on the floor of my pool should I try to vacuum to waste or to filter. I just don’t think vac head will pick up I have lil wheels and they say not to use brush type with gunite pools so any suggestions greatly appreciated.
vacuum to waste is best but loses a lot of water. If its very fine dust then vacuum to waste.

Hello, I got small pool with small light blue mosaic inside. I can get clear water in the pool but the water inside the filter gets light blue colour same as the mosaic after 8 hour filtering. PH and Clorum normal and using algicide. Can you tell me the cause. Can it be the mosaic tearing apart in dust particles? Or is there any kind of algae that has light blue colour?ThanksJorge Dias
@@ottis4518 nothing. Forgot about it. The blue turned into brown but for that I know it's dust.
What pool vacuum is that

When it rains a lot in summer I backwash when high water level. No algae issue in 2 years. Pool Rx Last 6 months. Every year $50 for 16000 gal pool perfect all the time Sure calcium and alkalinity you’ll have to keep in check along with ph when you shock but no big deal.
Clarifier and flocculant is not the same though.m
I have a cartridge filter instead of sand filter. There is no option to bypass filter and go straight to waste. How to clean the bedrid out in this case? I do have a robot and I tried but it just stirs it up more and seems the particles are so fine it goes right through the robot.
Water Clarifier for Cartridge Filters.
Floc of you have a sand filter.
Don't use Floc on cartridge filters if you don't have a bypass because you will clog the system and will have to replace the whole cartridge just to find out the new one will break too.
Can you use an robot pool vacuum for the final vacuum stage?

Hello i got a brand new above ground pool filled it up with clear water put a chlorine tab in it and it turned green any reason why?

Is the waste and drain the same? I only have drain position.
if you select drain and the pool water exits directly without going through the filter, then its correct. You can hear when the water is going through the sand filter. You don't want the dirt to be drained through pool filter, straight to waste.

John Mosquera depends where you live , im in canada and they call it clarifier , I struggled with this syndrome of a cloudy pool for two weeks because i had the pump running and a automatic pool cleaner running after opening the pool .buy a clarifier , two hours on circulation and lit it sit for awhile.
we do this and it did not work and everything else is fine
Clarifier and Flocc are not the same.........Clarifier can run threw filter.......Flocc needs to vacuumed

so it was green but now after vac all the muck it’s blue so have filter running right now and shocked it again last night but it’s a lil cloudy what should I do to get it clear?

Leaving it on waste while vacuuming is a HUGE waste of water
Yes but if you vacuum to filter you will break your filter. Water is cheaper than a new filter!!!
How is this diy? This is a product readily available this video is not home made.
read the title, it does not say how to make a flocculent DIY.
Similarly, when someone says fix your change your car oil DIY, you dont expect see how to make oil and spanners and a jack, you expect to see how to do the job yourself.
