    In this video, we're diving into the renal lab values that you MUST know for nursing school.
    The kidneys are a big deal and you will be tested on them a TON in nursing school. But it can be kind of tricky to learn how it all works.
    So I'm going to give you an easy breakdown of the renal labs you absolutely MUST know, along with some critical thinking points to help you understand how it all fits together.
    I'm giving you all the answers in this video! :)

    Another point is both Urea and Creatinine are not specific to kidney damage
    ;they may increase or decrease due to other factors. Thank You!

    I did a blood test and my egfr is higher than it should be for me. What does that mean? Like I've searched all the internet and didn't found anything but if I have an decrease :/

    Gud pm mam my creatine is 103 my doctors sait its back level my gfr is 55 now.long time ago vis 22..can ask if my gfr is hopeufully up..and 2nd I have a frend her creatine is 10 what of th level of number of result..thankyou very much mam

    My bun was 22. In my last blood lab how can i decrease my bun? My creatnine is normal. I quit drinking and smoking as well

      Get a cystatin c test. Some terrible doctors will diagnose ckd from creatinine alone. Egfr from creatinine is not always accurate. Cystatin C is the new gold standard

      @@2alexkom it’s been a bumpy ride. Multiple bouts of rejection and constant med dose changes. My tacrolimus level has not hit a stable trough level. Had my labs done Monday.. creatinine is 1.65 I weigh about 165lbs that makes my GFR roughly 61.96. Now three weeks ago my creatinine was slightly over two. It’s a constant rollercoaster.

    I’m so confused I was told that I have five kidney stones that I did not have in August.
    My only blood work that was off is A/G elevated...... and the BUN has been under range for two years.wtw
