Get a cystatin c test. Some terrible doctors will diagnose ckd from creatinine alone. Egfr from creatinine is not always accurate. Cystatin C is the new gold standard

Hi,what is your gfr now?
@@2alexkom it’s been a bumpy ride. Multiple bouts of rejection and constant med dose changes. My tacrolimus level has not hit a stable trough level. Had my labs done Monday.. creatinine is 1.65 I weigh about 165lbs that makes my GFR roughly 61.96. Now three weeks ago my creatinine was slightly over two. It’s a constant rollercoaster.
@@79dogface how old are You ,I am 47 ,GFR 71.
Dropped from 85 to 71 in 1 year,I am scared.
@@2alexkom sorry it’s rough. I am 42 years old. I was born with kidney disease. I received a kidney transplant in October 20 2020. I hope things get better for you.
I’m so confused I was told that I have five kidney stones that I did not have in August.
My only blood work that was off is A/G elevated...... and the BUN has been under range for two years.wtw
