This song speaks to me in SO many ways. My father was a very active alcoholic for as long as I can remember up to when I was 10, and verbally abused my mom and me. We're a lower middle-class family and both of my parents' incomes are needed to keep us afloat, so if I didn't forgive him and try to go on with my life, we wouldn't be able to live if he suddenly left. He left me feeling powerless because he had so much control over my life, and he's always trying to justify his actions because he's a raging narcissist. He's still a horrible person; he took my childhood, my happiness, my autonomy, and he turned it into poison. He would constantly ask, "Why do you hate me?" and he said he would kill himself if I didn't love him. I still fear to be around him and try to stay as far away as possible.
And yet, there's still people who have been through worse, FAR, FAR worse. And I would give the world to every one of those people for managing to live through their situation, no matter what it is. And for those who didn't live, I wish a peaceful rest and a family who loves them in death as well as in life. For all of the shitty abusers who decide to reflect their problems onto other people instead of getting help, I wish for them to get the help they need, or to rot in hell if they don't. You didn't just take away people's happiness, you consumed it, and you can never give it back. No matter what you do.

Guys Destroy Boys didnt do anything, they only knew that they were together and didnt know of the stuff that was going behind the scenes. Even the victim stated that DB joined after she left the tour so the likelyhood that they were to witness anything in the first place is low. They stated that they're going to endeavor to do better in the future and have even said they were going to donate the money they got from that tour to charities that helps abuse victims. Yall really heard some rumor online and ran with it smh, do better in the future please oml

@@anziepanzie Oh alright, so a few years ago they were in a situation where a minor (lydia knight) was getting abused by the drummer of SWMRS and they were aware.. However now I do think that because Destroy Boys were still really young and some of them have been abused themselves I think they are genuinely innocent.
