It causes a LOT of breaking a LOT of frizz and a LOT of hair loss while with brushing it wet it causes less tangled messes, the water allows my hair to be weighed down enough to brush it out and the conditioner makes it that much easier. I lose a LOT less hair this way and I have a LOT less split ends by doing this. If my hair was straight or possibly even thinner then it would be a better idea to brush dry but I have about 3-4 ft of fluffy mass of hair that varies on curl type and is SUPER coarse like horse hair about 1/2 the thickness so brushing dry isn’t an option for me if I value my hairs health 😅

If I _have_ to use something to help, I use a pick or a wide-toothed comb.

Sister's, i reveal you a secret k? Wash day: shampoo, treatment, conditioner. Get out the shower, heat protect and style as you wish, apply a tiny bit of repairing oil only to the ends. Idk if you let your hair dry alone or blowdry, but once it's fully dried, apply an amount of argan oil to your palm that almost match the point of your thumb, rub your palms together and aply to your hair. Do it till you feel your hair smooth and say goodbye to frizz, tangles, dry ends, split ends, +you'll have an amazing scent and a longer lasting curls

I tease the crap out of my hair and pull it up into a kind of puffy bun on top of my head almost daily. It takes me probably 30+ mins to brush it out...I wouldn't be keeping the brush LOL
