Do you know how small the map is and the big amount of players there are in a server? Everyone would just have endgame loot and kill the nakeds which in turn makes the game less enjoyable for both the nakeds and the long-term players.
@@gues.t I have 1000 hours in game so I do know the size of the map (pretty big, something like 5Km by 5Km) and in 1000 hours I’ve never seen more than 70 players on at any given time. Usually it’s 40-50 except the week before wipe where it drops to 20. Those 20 go around clearing all the Abandoned bases from the map, amassing more loot than you could ever use in an entire wipe. I’m one of those 20 But I question what is the point? We don’t get any reward for it. No leaderboard, no digital currency, no skins. Endgame is just because we are bored.
@cbrown9294 I don't know what servers you are playing because in the server I play, there are around 200 players average and around 300 at peak hours. And if you compare the grind of rust to an open world multi-player game, then you would see the difference. Open-world games are HUGE. Possibly around 5 to 10 times bigger than rust, and it has loads of content, which means that there are a lot of things you need to grind for. Meanwhile in rust, you can easily get endgame gear and weapons if you have a competent team with you.
@cbrown9294 I can see how a wipe is useless to you with the server's playercount, but if it has amassed a big playerbase, then it definitely is crucial.
What about Servers on console? I olayed on a server which git wiped every week and worked my way up trough several wipes on Tech Tree 2. Suddently after the next wipe BPs were also deleted. Which server is save of BP Wipes?
A wipe means the map is being reset, all buildings removed. A Blueprint Wipe means all blueprints also get reset in addition to the map and the buildings. Most wipes do not include Blueprints unless they specify BP or blueprint
@@givr OMG THANK GOD cause I’m new to rust and i thought it would be pretty dumb for the blueprints to restart every week 😂 you deserve a supscriber and here you go 🥰
If you play on the public servers run by Facepunch, blueprints wipe once or twice a year. If you play on a community server, they each choose, most doing it every couple of months. When aa major patch comes out (once or twice a year) it is forced for everyone.
Wipe time starts around 2:30 EST (7:30 UK time) but each admin determines when they wipe their server, possible adding an hour or few depending on when they are free.
On the community servers some they have no whipe and a lot of players play community rn I’m playing official trophy hunting can’t trust nobody I’m transitioning from DayZ
That video clip was taken back when Facepunch wanted people to use muzzle breaks so they made 50% reduction on recoil to AKs. Everyone back then had one their AK until facepunch realized it was too OP. That experience is why people watch our videos and why we've got over 500,000 views.
How are people able to assemble huge bases on wipe day if it is truly from scratch? This game is too much. It is so fun, but you have to be willing to sacrifice anything else you have going on in real life to play it. There are such toxic losers that all they have time for is naked camping your new base for two days straight when they have more loot than god.

Thank you for telling me I’ve Been so confused of why my base my items and the all the other bases were gone
If a wipe clears everything what’s the point of raiding everyone on the map for stuff when you don’t get to keep any of it?
Because its fun i would imagine.

Quite the opposite for me I rather keep my base and all the hard work I put in
The clans with mega cities that they can erect in a few days would likely agree
I thought it was insane that you had to start over. Before I played. Now I get it.
Thanks man this video cleared up my confusion but now it makes sense.

Ok ok plz answer, when there’s a wipe do you keep all your gun blueprints for the day after the wipe? Or that goes away too.

How often do force wipe happens in weekly’s
what time does force wipe happen in 2021
They don't always publish them until they know they are doing a big patch. Only once or twice a year.
Does your tect tree delete after the wipe?

man fuck rust im not gona play a game that fucks me out of all my shit
It only takes about 4-5 days before everyone has full metal AKs, that’s boring as hell.
y in the world you want a world wipe i rather keep it than start all over and that good thing just wow
You never played before I bet
You must've not experienced the massive lag it gives.
Lag because of lag
I'm guessing you haven't seen what a group can build in 2 days.
