But the places to avoid are their slum areas in central Manila and avoid traditional taxis cause they are scam and its best to use grab. And explore more provinces in Luzon such as Ilocos Norte and Sur . Also its best to walk at night in Bonfiacio Global city , makati and pasay city

Filipinos are very warm and friendly people, but since you are in the busy city, you should still be alert and take care whenever you are going out. There are many shopping malls in the Quezon City are (SM North Edsa, Trinoma, etc.) You could also try going to: -Glorietta/Greenbelt in Makati City -BGC (Bonifacio Global Center) in Taguig (there are many malls, shops, restaurants and cafes here) -SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City -Intramuros in the City of Manila -National Museum of Natural History in the City of Manila

As much as possible, avoid buying drinks from street vendors who don't used filtered ice. Never drink from the faucet or drinks made with block ice. It's better to be safe than sorry 🥲
You are so right about the water not being drinkable coming from the topwater there. I visited Php. a long time ago & had a soft drink in a glass with ice in it. Apparently those ice in a glass was not from a filtered water. After a few hours, I was sick to my stomach & experienced stomach cramps & diarrhea. It lasted for 4 days .
Also when offered water by the hotel please ask if it’s filtered or from bottled water. When my cousin came home from the states, she had the same stomach ache problems for 2 days. She even slept the whole day on the 1st day.

Gold's Gym, 3.) Fitness First, and 4.) Slimmer's World. If you want to travel outside of the city, most Filipinos like to go to (1) Tagaytay, and (2) Baguio because the temperature is a little bit colder compared to the city. But it requires long drive to get there and not easily accesible. You can visit these places if you know someone who can take you there. Hope you enjoy your stay in PH🇵🇭

You can go to BGC which currently has a Japanese department store and the vibe of that place is very modern. Also popular places to go to is Mall of Asia in Pasay and theres also a lot of hangout spots in QC! Don't forget to always drink water and put sunscreen and moisturizer. Stay safe Yuuki-san!

Have fun and stay safe! If you're in Makati city, you can check out the interconnected malls for shopping, Poblacion for drinks, and weekend markets in Salcedo and Legaspi Village. Bonifacio Global City for a modern vibe and shopping. In Manila city there's Intramuros and National Museum for some history, walking food tours in Binondo, and sunset along Manila Bay. If there's a long weekend you could go to beaches in Batangas and La Union with friends/ officemates! Unfortunately our transport system isn't efficient or tourist friendly like Japan but hope you still get to see lots of good places and have good experiences during your stay!

最近まで4年間マニラの中心部(マカティ)に駐在してました。マニラは本当に素敵なところで、フィリピン人は本当に素敵な人が沢山います。ただ、マニラはここ数年で劇的に治安が良くなって一見普通の東南アジアの国に素人目には見えますが、薄皮1枚剥がせば危ない目にあってる人たくさんいます。治安対策担当もしていましたが、マニラに長年いて通ぶっている人でも全然わかってない適当な人もたくさんいます。統計的な見ても危ない日本人・おかしな日本人が世界で最もいるのがマニラです。危ないフィリピン人もたくさんいます。今回撮影された場所と変わらない治安レベルのとこで刺された人この数年でも何人かいます。睡眠薬強盗に関しては山のようにあります。
すみません、かっこいい上に超頑張り屋さんなゆーきさんをニワカですが応援してたので、心配すぎて書きたいことがありすぎてまとまらず、要らんことを言ってごめんなさい。でも命に関わる嫌な思いするリスクが日常と隣り合わせです。慣れるまではお上品な日本人が外で気軽に撮影しながら歩いて良い都市ではないことはどうか知っておいてください😢
アフリカの多くの国よりマニラの方が実は安全にきちんと暮らすのは難しいです。見た目もyoutuberであることも非常に目立つ存在だと思うのでどうかお気をつけて。。🙇♂️
