Trying out the CABM pedal IR loader thingamabob!
Sounds shockingly authentic! Usually you can discern artefacts in sims that need to be dealt with but this is pretty damned good. Also like the cathedral image - THIS however could have been improved with the interior resembling an Imperial basilica. Possibly extolling the death of Horus, the arch traitor, or an act of valour from one of the astarties Primarchs. The Emperor protects with this device, let us hope it is not of xenos origin...
When I did some home recording back in the mid 90s, I used two mics, one (obviously) in front, and the other in the back, and blended them. Really did help beef up the tone.
You can do the same with the TN products. ;)
Of all the channels I go to, yours Ola has the most spot on sounding effect pedals out there... I mean the sound quality is just awesome.... Kudos...

Ola, seriously, the finish of the new 1.6 FRFBR is what I've been dreaming of coming out from Solar... And the black binding on top of that makes my loins tingle.

Ola has one of the strangest picking tech I know that I actually like. IE - he doesn't downstroke all the palm muted riffs, yet it sounds really badass.

Now all we need is a company to step up and put all this into a pre-amp pedal at the $350 price point. You know, a pre-amp pedal for guitarists with all the features that bass players have been expecting as standard for the last decade.
Agree. Me and my guitarist both have 1 pedalboard running a twonotes pedal w cab sim and my bass preamp. Makes traveling gigs cheap and simple to setup w 2 active monitors. No need for back breaking amps

Dude, you've been playing the riff at 3:39 and 3:58 a lot (same ending at least, always) in your videos. It sounds pretty much like Kreator - "People Of The Lie" from the early 90s, which happens to be the first song I've ever played live in a band setting in school. I wonder whether you've ever heard that one and if not, well, sry - riff taken.

To lazy to scroll through the questions if someone asked already.. Can you plug your pedalboard in, send the DI to the FOH and then without an amp plug in your real cab as a monitor via the speaker out?
I think you still need an amp, it is not strong enough to drive a speaker cab. Or you can use something like Seymour Duncan Powerstage after the line out to power a cab.
@@RadityoPramAdi That's the question.. still it has a built in power amp sim too, so that's what got me thinking...
@@tomic_luka yeah w the poweramp sim you just simulate the tube power section. Meaning you could use a mooer baby bomb to power a speaker cab on stage. Whilst still using the DI out for FOH sound
Crazy how this pedal with all the different cab and mic placement options sounds just like my old Zoom 505 pedal haha! These new ones just sound a hell of a lot better DI. Fuckin cool!

Good demo. A pub musician should love this, I gather it's not only for metal. I'm sure all the classics are in there.
I have one coming. It comes standard with most of the usual suspects. The only one I didn't see was a Fender 410. That can be easily gotten though if not through Two Notes then via other IR outlets. I use the 410 in my Iridium. The two notes will be mostly for the "power amp" and "cab" of my Revv G3. For anything not modern hi-gain I use the Strymon for both amp and cab.

Mooer Radar is pretty damn good. Just place reverb and ambient fx after the Radar, and I think you get the same feature....
so many comments of "why not just buy....". sometimes you pay less for less stuff. this is perfect for direct signals, needing a send to your in-ears, and bypassing your crappy cab or crappier mixer. it's JUST right for a lot of people. why's everyone got to be so negative?
Since you've tested the two notes cab, the nux solid studio and the mooer radar -> Which one do you liked the most ? I'm just curious cause im searching a cab simulator at the moment.

I watched the whole video, still have no idea what this thing is (noob) and yet I am entertained.
Basically a bank of virtual speaker cabs.
CAB M is an IR loader. It loads IR (impulse response), a signal footprint from a speaker cabinet.

More on the le lead. Doesn't sound like it needs an OD to tighten the bass. Am I correct? Sounds pretty tight already.

If I have a choice between this or the Radar I would most likely go with radar since the two Notes doesn't come with a load box section.

Ola, can I use the Torpedo CAB without needing to use a software?
My signal chain would be:
Precision Drive > MXR 5150 OD > Torpedo CAB > Interface/FOH
you don't need to use their software. You can tweak everything on the pedal itself.

Nope, that's the direct sound recorded to the DAW, thru the sound card.

Hey there. I have a question. So if you plan to use it after your amp head and before your speaker cabinet do you hear the Cab M through your real cab? Like assuming that’s all you have. Thanks!
No. The Signal of the Head goes Though the Cab-M without being touched and into your cab as usual. A second signal from the head will be combined with the cab sim and goes to a different output with no load to the foh, interface, whatever.

Anyone know if there is a visual representation on what % of the mic placement responds to what location on the speaker? This would be great to have. This is quite hard to see in the app and I am not sure how accurate it is.
