Thanks for the video. This is exactly my problem. Around 60 MPH I get the vibration. Any slower or faster and the vibration goes away. So I suspected a tire balance issue, but you just help confirm it. Looks like I'll be going to the tire shop to get it re-balanced.
I'm having this problem on a brand new vehicle. It started when somehow both left tires started leaking out of the blue, soon after I bought the car. I believe they overinflated the tires at the dealership also, they were at 40 psi or a bit over when it warms up, and they are supposed to be at 35 psi. There is a warning on the tire about filling above 40 PSI also, they are low profile style tires on 18 inch alloys. I'm so ticked that I have to go back to the dealership, I already went once and had one hole plugged, and they couldn't find the leak on the other tire, but I keep having to fill it up with air every couple of days. There is a warranty on the tires but it's going to be a hassle. Edit: now that I think about it, it wasn't happening when I would let off the accelerator, so it could be something else, like bad ball bearings or CV joint, which would be odd on a new vehicle. I've only experienced a bad CV joint before in an older vehicle and it was shaking all the time, so it's odd that it's only happening when I hit 55 or 60 then goes away after, or if I let of the gas.
Interesting. I first noticed the 50-60 mph bounce on a highway trip last weekend. Fortunately, most of the trip was at 70 and 75 mph, where the ride was more pleasant. I used a bubble balance today to confirm that the wheels are balanced, and checked the treadwear to see that the tread is in consistent good condition.
Wow great information! Thank you so much. My tire was fine at first and then it just started happening but all this stuff makes so much sense.. there was a pothole last week that I couldn't avoid and it was bad.

@@anisena16 yeah hopefully, but here’s the thing. If your suspension and everything is all good (like mine is, I inspect once a month) then it HAS to be wheels right? It never hurts for a woman to invest 5% of their time learning the basics of car parts. The internet exists, so there isn't much of an excuse to not gain valuable knowledge
those tires are worn completely out. They are down to where the wear bars are showing. Not good on a wet road. I live in the pacific NW, it's imperative to keep good rubber on the road. we go from dry to wet to snow covered in one day. Safety first. Good Video otherwise.
Dufus you're right about the Pacific Northwest and having good tires. I've been here all my life.born here, die here, wouldn't live any where else. Have a great day sir.
My Zafiri B steering wheel shakes at exactly 72 mph , UK speed limit 70 mph , maybe my car is very law abiding and just telling me off .
My car vibrates at high speeds but also when in idle. Any idea?
Motor and Transmission mounts.
Hi, my car steering sticks when returning to the center position but only when I make right turns when going around a corner on the highway. I also hear a grinding noise when turning to the right. What could cause this issue?
Intermediate steering shaft may need lube or replacement. Wheel bearings may be going out as well
Seems like a lot of tire wear from it being a front wheel drive and maybe from a lot of understeer
I hope my problems is just the tyres
My friend says "you don't need to balance winter rims" is this true?
I change my axel and balanced my tire, but still, the problem existed at a speed of 60mph, I checked my tires the tire said they were ok I am tired of this car brother
This guy sounds like he's talking underwater. Lol
🤣🤣🤣🤣
I just got new wheels and almost brand new tires. The old ones shook at about 100km/hr and got worse as I sped up. Now it starts at about 120 and gets worse as I speed up. I’m having trouble locating the issue
Same here. I start having vibration around 55-60 mph and it gets slightly worst as i gain speed. Im on older tires, but they didn’t cause any issues on my old wheels. Its kind of stressing me out, i got new tires and I’m praying that’s my issue.
@@anisena16 yeah hopefully, but here’s the thing. If your suspension and everything is all good (like mine is, I inspect once a month) then it HAS to be wheels right? But also, I just learned that some cars have weights on the cv axles to keep them in balance so maybe it’s that! I’ll look into it. Let me know if the tires fix your issue
@@MegaDevify alright, I’m gonna put them on next week. I’ll keep you updated. If i forget feel free to remind me.
Can anyone tell me why my 2002 chevy impala vibrate real bad when I make a left turn ?
Bad bearing, if u also hear a drill-sound, i guess.
What about the other causes, you forgot to mention?
vibrations when driving slowly… help 10-40 mph
My car runs fine after driving for like 10 minutes. Then It starts shaking if I go above 40Mph. Whats the solution for that?
most likely a Drive shaft.
Pray it's not cv
If you feel vibration through the steering wheel, then the problem is in the front wheels front of car.
If you feel the vibration through the floor and your feet, then the problem is coming from the rear wheels and rear of the car.
what issues could be linked to the rear wheel
Just changed my rotors and breaks and my car is shaking… Yall know what it is?
How many times he said guys ?
Who else cried 😂 at his voice 😭😭😭
My 2011 ford focus mk3 1.6 ti-vct makes a vibration/buzzing sound in the cabin every time I'm in between 3700-3900rpm regardless of speed or gear. Any idea of what it could be?
Seems weird, but I have the same engine and in my case this buzzing sound appears when radio is turned on and nothing is playing. 😂
@@scR471 i figured it out since, just some loose screws behind the instrument panel😅
My car vibrates over 75 and gets worse the faster I go over 75
