How many of us really are living in the truth? The truth that long before we were born our fight came to an end? Are we walking in the reality that Jesus won the war, that our chains are broken and dealt with, that we are truly free? What do you do when you doubt God?

In the first message of our Chain Breaker series, Pastor Louie Giglio looks at the chain of Doubt and the One who is able to break this chain along with every other. Jesus.
So awesome to hear Louie say that we have to fast to break bondage. Fasting was common for the early believers but we have lost that crucial piece of the puzzle.

So sorry to hear. I just divorced mine for adultery. It's torn me apart and I have 2 small kids. No my life is shattered. Feels like I'll never overcome this pain but I'm trusting God to heal my broken heart,. and I pray He'll do the same for you!

Ps Louie is such a good communicator, he always has a way of directing our attention to Jesus, love love him.
4 yrs later after this was uploaded, God led me straight to it today. His word is still speaking even today! This message was a confirmation of exactly what He has been telling me lately. That part about the pamphlets dropping from the sky, this was a pamphlet for me. 💝

Love the emphasis on our thought-life and the good explanation on what prayer and fasting truly is.
Prayer and fasting is not in the original text. The scribes adding that on later. Contextual it doesn't fit. However, louie does make good use of it in his explanation.

What a great message for today!!!
Prayer is for *us*, not God. He already knows everything and KNOWS our desires, hurts, pains, etc. Prayer draws *us* up to God and places *us* in *His* realm, not vice versa. Fasting clears our minds and keeps our focus on Him and allows us to better hear His voice when He speaks. Fasting can be one of many different forms; abstaining from food, media, certain pleasures, etc. Fasting puts us in a more vulnerable position and clears our minds of distractions that take our minds and thoughts *away* from Christ, so when we fast AND pray, we are in a better position to be fully armored to fight the enemy and to hear God's voice. Fasting and prayer draws us up to HIS realm and empowers us spiritually.
So needed this.
