The Lost Boys (1987)-revisit film locations.

- We took a trip to Santa Cruz in order to visit filming locations we could find.
On our list was the Boardwalk, grandpas house, and the comic book store.
Unfortunately the bridge and cave are in Southern California.
There is a similar looking bridge next to the Boardwalk.
If you visit Santa Cruz, you must stop in and meet Joe at Atlantis Fantasyworld.
What a great person to talk to. And his staff is wonderful as well.
We bought some great stuff there.
When I get to feeling too sad about my current lack of beach...I watch the movie or this video set in my beloved Santa Cruz CA. Lived a 1/2 hr away from 1951 to 2011...took it for granted I'd always be close enough to the ocean to go whenever I wanted. For Sr Sneak Day we went to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. One gets old & learns some hard truths. Never take anything good for granted...

Joe is the sweetest man!! He used to sign my paychecks! $$.. His comic shop is in DOWNTOWN SANTA CRUZ. The shop that WAS on the corner of Pacific/Beach was turned into a liquor store/Beach rental shop MANY yrs ago. ... Joe loves to hold babies!! Bring your babies & lil ones into Atlantis! They might end up leaving w/a treat!💜🌊

This movie never gets old. I was in Santa Cruz 2 weeks ago and went to the boardwalk but it was closed. I also went to the comic book store but because of the Fires the comic book wasn’t there but in hiding. I will go back next year when quarantine is over. Great video. Wish Corey was still alive. My mom had a crush on him in the 80s and I can see why he is so adorable. I’ve been to the bridge it’s about an hour away from me by Magic Mt. in Santa Clarita.

The Lost boys is my fave film,I'm from England and would love to visit USA one day especially all the lost boys places, I'm glad grandpas house is still there and l got excited when I saw the vampires everywhere comic book lol! Do you know how far grandpas house is from the Boardwalk? I was at the boardwalk yesterday to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Lost Boys. I couldn't find the spot.

I’d love to seriously own this house and fix it up properly. I’d have the exteriors modernised. Maybe to look like the house in the movie.
Every time a fan rolled up to the house the windows would be open (obviously because it’s hot as fuck there in the summer) and ‘People are strange’ would blast out of Alexa through loud speakers. 😆

This movie was a classic back in 1987 and I was like 10 when I saw this movie they fenced up Grandpa's house, and did they ever find the cave? Its hard to believe it was 1987 when this movie came out! Corey Haim died and its sad that he is gone b/c he and Corey Feldman defined the 80s! Jamie Gertz was in Twister 1996 Less Than Zero 1987 and one TV series
but I haven't seen her since then! I miss the 80s and 90s good times now fast forward to 2019

Pinball machine clearly looks to be turned on at 03:47 - I think he meant to say they weren't playing the machine but just stood in front of it! and how did the game rob him when his friend was meant to be the one playing it - aaah how the years play on our minds :-)
