I know this video is old, but if you throw away your torch accidentally, there's a forest dweller's sword in a chest near the second guardian fight on the right of the updraft wind. you can light that sword on fire.

Yep, I wasted 20 arrows and am giving up on this shrine. They keep bouncing off the torch scone thingy on the second moving platform even after I stasis it.
