I found your video while I was searching for Margaret Tati films and I'm glad I did. The filmmakers you listed are my heroes as well. Such a beautiful film! I'll be waiting for your future projects.
This was a little different, glad you could get so many to film. There is a quality about film that makes such a difference from that of video recordings. Well done on the editing of this. It has been a while, he you are doing well. 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂😁
thanks! am getting very much into celluloid recently, hope to be making a great many more films on 8mm and super 8 :) have a few lined up and some currently in the works. Have decided to transition away from the old style of films and towards a more indirict, ambient, feminine, tactile, medative form of filmmaking. In truth I can't quite bare the appearance of much of my older videos- I find them cringely egotistical and uncreative, and went on a wee bit of an impulsive deleting spree! I imagine the change in scenery is bound to loose a few viewers- but hey ho what an ye do! I guess we'll see how it goes haha
I have trouble with maintaining eye contact as people suddenly look like monsters to me. But I am potentially Autistic and am getting checked out at soon.
Each and every one special - unique. A soul journey connected to all that is. All the best. Mark

Wonderful portraiture, Victoria. Eye contact indeed! Your subjects' responses to the gaze of the camera are fascinating.
cheers! :)
