Welcome to The Warning! There were 8000 of us in the Pepsi Center that evening. We sang as loud as we could. Since this is your first reaction to The Warning, I thought you might appreciate a little introduction. The Warning Army welcomes you to what we believe is the future of rock & roll - The Warning - Three sisters from Monterey Mexico who started playing together when they were children and who have now been making great hard music for more than a decade. With four studio albums, several live concert videos, we think there is plenty of material for you to choose from. They were independent for the first two albums (Kickstarter and crowd-funded), but are now signed to Lava/Republic records. This three-piece is: Daniela (Dany, 24yo, guitar) Paulina (Pau, as in POW-er, 22yo, drums) Alejandra (Ale, pronounced AH-lay, 19yo, bass) All three sisters sing, and all are classically trained on piano. The Warning have a sound that is both new and familiar. It is certainly hard rock, but clearly influenced by their love of classic rock, metal, punk, K-pop, indie, grunge, funk, and many other genres including classical music. But they have taken those influences and forged a sound that is uniquely their own, and you know that it is them. At the same time simple and complex. What does it sound like to me? Refreshing. A sound that has caught my ear and made me interested in rock again after 25+ years of the same old playlist. While together their combined ages are about the same as many of us fans, their musical maturity is exceptionally high. Need another suggestion? From The Warning’s RUclips page you might choose from: - Hell You Call a Dream, Z, or Choke or anything else from this 2023 Pepsi Center Live performance - MORE or EVOLVE from the MTV VMAs - S!CK or Automatic Sun live studio performances from either MTV Push or Jimmy Kimmel - The official music video for their new releases Six Feet Deep, S!CK or Que Mas Quieras (in Spanish) - The official music video for XXI CENTURY BLOOD - SURVIVE from their 2017 TedX talk There are really no bad choices. They are something special live-I think it is their super power. Their energy, charisma, and musicality really shine when in front of an audience. In the past two years I have flown >20k miles all over North America and Mexico, and just got home from three shows in the UK and Ireland. Can’t wait for the chance to travel and see them again. The only other band I have traveled for like this in more than 45 years of concert going was Rush. We would love to have you join us in The Warning Army as one of the Warneros. The Warning can be a deep rabbit hole, but we have plenty of space down here for you. Good luck on your journey!!
@@DoubleTakeJC Their rabbit hole is one of the best I have come across in more than 30 years. I expect more members of The Warning Army will be stopping by shortly. And, Yes, they did do a collaboration with Band Maid this past summer. I expect you will enjoy that one too.
@oldmanyeni1663 this is a great introduction to help new The Warning Army (TWA) members get up to speed. Thank you! @doubletakeJC - you cannot go wrong, Dany, Pau, and Ale' (DPA) do not have a bad song in their catalog. I'm 60 years old, and they have gotten me excited about rock music again. The last time I felt this strongly connected to a band was KISS in the 1970's. And The Warning are so connected to their fan base, and really so humble. Watch some of the behind the scenes footage and you'll see.
I'm going to tell you a story......I am an older man from Mexico, one day at the end of 2018 I was in the state of San Luis Potosi and some friends invited me to a bar because a rock band was going to perform, the place was not big and it was full of rockers and metal-heads, men and women, when those girls came out to sing, I thought, how do parents allow these teenagers to play in these places (later I found out that the father is a friend of the owner),...honestly we all had a lot of doubts when they started to playing.......after 3 or 4 songs, we were totally hypnotized, as if they had done witchcraft on us, it was something surreal, how was it possible that those girls could make rock of that quality...... Seeing them live is something completely different from videos.
Here is your homework- So many reactors know nothing about The Warning, or have gotten wrong information about these ladies so this is a brief history of the band- The Warning is made up of 3 sisters from Monterrey, Mexico. Daniela, Paulina, and Alejandra Villerreal Velez. • They started early. Their parents loved all types of rock music and there was always music, or concert videos playing. They would spend Saturday evenings watching performances by Queen, AC/DC, Elton John, and many, many other bands. • In 2005 when Daniela was 5 years old and Paulina was 3, they were enrolled in music initiation classes- they loved it. Alejandra was only around 1 year old so she had to wait for her time but went through the same classes. • They all started classical piano lessons when they were between 6 and 7 years old. • In 2007 when Daniela was 7 years old their dad bought them the video game “Rock Band” and they completely fell in love with playing it. Dany played the guitar, Paulina was 5 and playing the drums, and Alejandra (being only 3 at the time) stood next to them and clapped along. They loved the aspect of performing on stage and dreamed of doing that. • In 2008 their dad asked Daniela if she wanted to learn another instrument (along with the piano). She chose the guitar. Around the same time Paulina chose the drums (she was 6). At that time Ale’ was still too young but when she turned 6, she wanted to play the bass but had to wait until she was 7 to be big enough to hold and play it. They then realized they could play those 3 instruments together and they began playing as a band. • In 2014 they were playing in their basement studio that their dad made (selling his Harley Davidson motorcycle to afford it) and decided to make a video for their grandparents to see how far they had progressed. The file was too big to just email so dad uploaded the video onto RUclips and sent the grandparents the link. The video went viral and was seen by millions (well over 25 million to date) include Metallica. Kurt Hammet shouted out Paulina on the drums. Here is the 2014 Metallica Enter Sandman cover from their basement studio affectionately called “The Warning Cave”. They were 14, 12, and 9 years old: ruclips.net/video/1boUYB9LFJY/видео.html • Another person who saw that video was Ellen DeGeneres and in 2015 the girls made their US debut on the Ellen show. The girls wanted to go to the prestigious Burklee College of Music to learn musical theory and more and were trying to raise the money to do so. Ellen heard this and when they were on the show, she (and Target) presented each of the girls with a check for $10,000 so they could attend. • Because Alejandra was only 10 years (well below the minimum age to attend) they sent in an audition tape to show she was capable of handling the music and classes. Here is that audition tape of them playing Muse’s Hysteria at a school “end of school year party”. This is a bass intense song. I think it was pretty clear she was more than capable. 2015 performances of Muse’s Hysteria (10-year-old Ale´ steals the show on bass): ruclips.net/video/fU26wmlF3yg/видео.html • Here is the Ellen show visit, and a diary of their time at the Burlee College of Music, along with a visit to Harmonix Studios (the creators of the Rock Band video game) with a surprise at the end: ruclips.net/video/3eV1VGel4lE/видео.html • Here is a 2016 Ted X performance from The Warning: ruclips.net/video/dyJlh0tNK6Y/видео.html • Here is a 2017 Ted X performance from The Warning: ruclips.net/video/pj5ue3M-v6o/видео.html • Dany sings lead on about 75% if the songs. Pau sings lead on about 25% of the songs (either while drumming, or while at the keyboard, or just out front). Ale’ is a little shy about singing lead but steps in and sings lead when needed. All 3 can literally jump in and sing lead on any song if needed (with no drop-off in quality) and their harmonies in songs are simply amazing. • They have all given master classes on their instruments, and song writing, and performing (even at as young as 18 years old). • In 2015 they released an EP called Escape the Mind. It was a mix of different genres as they sorted out their musical style. • They released their first album in 2017 called XXI Century Blood (21st Century Blood). • They released their second album in 2018 called Queen of the Murder Scene. It was a concept album telling the story of a young woman’s journey from desire, to love, to infatuation, to obsession, to psychotic, to murder, to remorse, and finally to suicide. It was an amazing album and was up for, and won, several Independent Music awards in 2019. • In 2021 Metallica asked 53 artists to take any of the 12 iconic songs from their Black album and do a cover (any way they wanted to) for their Black List album, commemorating the 30th anniversary of the Black album. Alessia Cara (Canadian pop star) was asked to participate but had no idea what to do. Because she shares the same management group as The Warning, she contacted them for help. It was difficult to do as Alessia was in Canada and The Warning were in Mexico and travel with COVID was not happening. They made it work and developed/recorded this completely re-imagined song in one week. They created the music video with the same logistical restrictions. Because of that you will see that Alessia appears as a projection on the wall in the video as she was not there. It was recorded in an abandoned textile mill outside of Monterrey, Mexico. Here is the official music video: ruclips.net/video/9tKQgesCcTc/видео.html and here is the live concert version with Alessia Cara’s background vocals: ruclips.net/video/vg9vNE7gm0I/видео.html • In 2020, after 7 months of negotiations they signed with Lava/Republic records and went straight into the studio to record an album. • In 2022 they released their third album (first since signing to Lava Records) called Error and is amazing! It was done in 2020 but sat because they could not release or tour with it because of Covid. • While touring in 2022 they opened for The Pretty Wreckless and Hailstorm. Lzzy Hale was so taken by the band and in particular Daniela that she presented Dany with a special Gibson Explorer guitar on stage mid-concert. There are videos out there of this and Lzzy does not shy away from telling this story. • Here is a 2022 professionally shot concert to give you an idea of their skills, their power, their stage presence, and their writing abilities. The Teatro Metropolitan CDMX concert was their most important concert to date, as they were playing in Mexico’s most prestigious theater, and they were the only act. The 2-night event was sold out and they just killed it! The actual concert starts at around the 2:00 minute mark and it is timestamped so you can see each song title. Entire 2022 Teatro Metropolitan CDMX Concert: ruclips.net/video/7hbBa1-1p7M/видео.html • In 2023 they opened 4 shows for their absolute idols Muse in Mexico City in front of 60,000 fans. Muse was so taken by The Warning’s performances that they asked them after the 4th show to go to Europe and do 5 more shows with them! Matt Bellamy was so taken with Daniela that he presented her with a one-of-a-kind Manson guitar. • In 2023 they were invited to perform at the MTV Video Music Awards. They were the only band to perform that was not up for some type of award. Only about 6 people in the crowd even knew who they were but as you can see from the 2 songs the audience quickly fell in love with them- o More: ruclips.net/video/cZWSDsDsbZU/видео.html o Evolve: ruclips.net/video/97Pxe9KTgJc/видео.html • In 2024 they released their fourth album Keep Me Fed which ushered in a new and more sophisticated sound. Here are some songs from the new album- o Automatic Sun: ruclips.net/video/PDFH9AcPpyA/видео.html o Burnout: ruclips.net/video/HfLRHEuvOT4/видео.html o Six Feet Deep: ruclips.net/video/j13uxB6fDvk/видео.html o Sick: ruclips.net/video/5IS53CZjT6o/видео.html o Hell You Call a Dream: ruclips.net/video/s6b_FgQnXL8/видео.html o Que Mas Quieres (co-directed by Paulina): ruclips.net/video/1lfb-280MhU/видео.html • In August of 2024 they played the Poland Rock festival at midnight in front of nearly 300,000 people and just rocked the house. The audience and show MC fell in love with them and sang a special song of appreciation back to them at the end. • There is so much more about they ladies to learn but this will get you started • As they say “You Have Been Warned”!
Great info, just an update, the Pepsi show now is their biggest one beyond Metropolitan and in some months (Feb 2025) the Auditorio Nacional Will be the One ❤
@@manuelesquivel9732 I won't argue with you about that. Honestly though, I like the Teatro concert best because you can hear them much clearer in that concert. The Pepsi Center has so much crowd hype- that is great but you lose some of the clarity in the songs. Personally I think the Poland Rocks concert is maybe the best yet but it got pulled from RUclips. Luckily I downloaded it before it got pulled. I watch it about 3 times a week and love every moment of it.
You´re not wrong, they have a colaboration with Band Maid, when they meet in the Warning tour in Japan, both bands are fan of each other, and create the song "Show Them".
Welcome to the best rabbit hole youve ever been in. This band is phenomenal. Every song is fantastic. They are the future of rock. You are about to get overwhelmed by us in The Warning Army. Welcome!
Soooo much fun watching new fans be born into The Warning Army!! Great reaction! These young ladies are insanely talented and full of energy. You won't be disappointed in any of their performances. You have to see them live - incredible!!
Big Warning Army guy here- LOVE your such pure, awesome reaction. The best is yet to come- be prepared to sucked-in; you'll never get out- you won't want to anyhow.
As everyone is telling you they are from Monterrey, Mexico and, although young, have been doing this for 10 years or since the bass player was 9. The mainly Spanish-speaking crowd sings back to them in English. This whole show is worth watching. They finished the headline European tou,r played some very big festivals also, in July and are now touring the USA and Canada. This is a rabbit hole well worth diving into they have 4 albums and 2 EPs. They are one of the very few bands that is probably better viewed live than listened to on record, not that the recordings are bad they just do not have the energy a stage show has.
Soo glad your doing some of the Warning, they are such talented sister's. Love their energy, their sound, and their drummer is mind blowing how she sings and drums at the same time!
Bienvenidos a The Warning Army, the band’s worldwide fandom. Hope to see you reacting to their 60 song catalog 😏🤘⚡️ Dany, Pau and Ale are from Mexico and that concert was in Mexico City, my hometown! si I was there singing along with the rest of the 8,000 fans who attended that magical experience 🤩
This whole concert is amazing but a great next step is "Dust to Dust / Dull Knives". They are from Mexico and have 3 songs in Spanish. You should check out the music video for "Que Mas Quieres". Banger of a song and the video was co-directed by the drummer (Paulina).
"Show Them" is the collaboration between BAND-MAID and The Warning. The two bands are fans of each other & the song is fabulous. The vocal similarities between Dany (vocals/guitar for The Warning) and Saiki (vocals for BAND-MAID) are uncanny. I saw The Warning in Detroit, MI, this past Tuesday (24 September). Only 1100 people in that sold-out show, and they brought the same level of intensity as this 8000-seat arena. If you can see them live, DO IT. Live, as The Warning Army likes to say, is their superpower.
and the maidiacs and the warning army can become a single force if the occasion warrants it, if the other group needs it... if either of the two bands is nominated and the award is awarded by fan votes... both join forces (for example)
Welcome to the fandom! I suggest these TW songs: Money, Automatic Sun, Enter Sandman (with Alessia Cara) & Evolve (live VMAs) BTW - Band Maid & The Warning are big fans of each other. They recently dropped a song collab called *Show Them* They played a concert together in Tokyo back in June where they live debuted their collab...and oh yeah I was there! Me & GF flew 6,000 miles (oHIo to Tokyo) to see them & visit. Was an amazing concert & trip. An experience we'll both cherish forever!
Yes, they are fantastic live, and they did a song with Band-Maid that will be on BM's next album. Try The Warning's 'Evolve' from the 2023 MTV VMAs to see them in front of a small live crowd.

Such a good idea to start off with a live performance because man the are so good live as I saw them in NYC for the first time and one of the few bands that sound better live. You are gonna effin love this band !
My friends: The Warning... one of the Best Bands in the World!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Warning are amazing, 3 sisters from Mexico, 18, 21 and 23 in this performance which is a concert celebrating their 10th anneversary as a band. Ale on Bass has been a Spector featured artist since she was 13 years old, Pau on druns was featrured in Modern Drummer at 12 and was Drumeo Rock Drummer of the year for 2023 and Dany was gifted guitars on tour by Matt Bellamy from Muse and Lizzy Hale from Halestorm. They are amazing writers and performers and are always fantasic live.
They're from Monterrey, Mexico. They have toured the world and played small clubs and massive festivals. They've opened for The Foo Fighters, Guns n Rose, Halestorm, and many others. It all started 10 years ago when their cover of "Enter Sandman" put on RUclips so their grandparents could see them.
Welcome to The Warning, 3 sisters from Mexico and the collaboration song with Band maid is called Show Them. Discovered The Warning during covid and since then, I have seen them 13 times. In Texas, Dublin, my hometown of Liverpool and across the UK. The Warning are back in Brixton next April. Still tickets available. The Warning are best live, even better than studio recordings. You must check them out live, so plenty of time to get familiar with their catalogue of 60+ original songs. Nice reaction. 🤟
Welcome to The Warning! We LOVE watching reactors discover them and we LOVE watching your journey down this deep rabbit hole. Keep going! They have about 60 songs in their catalog, and dozens of vlogs and interviews and we love watching people react to ALL of it!
After 8 years of only listening and watching bands from Japan, The Warning were the band that got me to look west again. I got lucky enough to see them in April, on their UK tour, in a smallish venue (Cardiff students union hall - 2000 in audience) and they were superb live. Worth a deep dive into their history - oh, btw, they are Mexican and are sisters!
This concert was their 10th anniversary as a band, but before that they already played seperately. They started on classical piano at the age of 6 and 4.
There are 23 songs in this concert from 2023 that was the 10th anniversary of The Warning's existence. The next one you hear will be your favorite. Their superpower is LIVE performances. "The Warning Army" is here so just ask and you'll get about any answer you need. Enjoy!!🤟⚡TWA
The Warning is incredible, easily my favorite rock band in a very long time. Their songwriting ability, the quality and variety of their songs, and passionate live performances are astonishing. If you sample even a few songs from their Teatro Metropólitan performance in 2022 or their Pepsi Center performance in 2023 you’ll get a sense of what I’m talking about. As has been mentioned, they did collaborate with Band-Maid on the song “Show Them.” The two bands have somewhat different approaches to music, I think, but the collaboration showed their mutual respect and fanship (is that a word?).
This was the first song I saw and it blew me away these 3 sisters from Mexico are incredible performers they are a blast to follow welcome to the army. Every song at this show is amazing enjoy. 🔥⚡
There are a lot of good suggestions for videos in the other comments. You commented on how young they are, you should check out the video that got them started 10 years ago, their cover of Metallica's Enter Sandman when they were 9,12, and 14 years old. Great reaction.
@@DoubleTakeJC And after that check out their re-imagined version of Enter Sandman from this very concert (Pepsi Cenre CDMX) with full orchestra. ruclips.net/video/-stoqv5W8RM/видео.html
The Warning did do a collaboration with Band-Maid. The two bands are actually fans of each other and they performed the song they collaborated on live in a show in Japan.
Best concert to date. I fully expect them to top this one next February. Have no idea how they plan on doing that but from a recent interview they're already working on it.
You don't fall into the rabbit hole, these three phenoms pull you in whole-heartedly! Look so forward to your journey with these three incredible sisters! ❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥 Cheers from Vancouver Island, Canada!!
Hi , The Warning Army Manchester checking in . Greatest Rock band in the world . Unbelievable live , enjoy the rabbit hole . Tickets for London next year currently on ssle ,
Very emotional reaction from both of you and I'm excited to know that if you continue to react to more material from this power trio they will soon be your favorite band as well, inevitably. You take that for granted... It's the warning. Because as you get to know The Warning more you discover that they have several styles of rock but they are invariably pure rock!! And I continue to reaffirm my humble but very own opinion that with its structure, its cuts, transitions, rhythm changes, modulations, choruses, pre-choruses, drum attacks, its endings… All of this is masterful. The great beauty of their art is in its simplicity but all of this always seems to be at the right time and in the right way, bordering on perfection and predominating sophistication. There could always be other options, but the ones they chose seem to be the exact ones to create a masterpiece of art. Also impregnating everything with a natural touch of inevitable sensuality that only adds improvement and with the feeling, sensitivity and passion of their blood, race and culture. Each of its pieces can be very different, but always with all the TW flavor. It’s very clear that these sisters have no limits. They have that gift that only belongs to the geniuses that appear among us every certain period of time. This is the youngest veteran band in the rock world!! Without forgetting that there are only three of them, yes, but three true geniuses in their field. Melodically they are the best, without a doubt. They are the queens of the hook, the riff, the key changes, the contagious rhythms, the catchy melodies, the sublime voices, the unbeatable harmonies and the ambiguous but deep and powerful messages. And this happens song after song… INCREDIBLE!! The new masters of rock: The warning ⚡ For now I'm subscribing to your channel because I hope to see many more from you to my favorite band of all time. Thanks and greetings from México!! 🇲🇽 🤘😁✌️ .
They're 3 sisters from Monterrey, Mexico: Daniela (24, guitar & lead vocals), Paulina (22, drums, lead & backing vocals), Alejandra (19, bass & backing vocals). They started playing classical piano at a very young age. Their dad bought them the videogame Rock Band and that inspired Daniela and Paulina to learn their respective instruments. Later on Alejandra picked up the bass and they started playing together and writing their own songs. Despite being so young they already have 4 studio albums and 1 EP, all original songs. You have been Warned!⚡🤘
Check out the music video ! Plus the songs called " Dust to dust " which leads straight in to the song called " Dull knives " , same venue , cheers guys .
WELCOME to the phenomena that is The Warning. You are starting what I consider the greatest journey of your lives. ALL songs are great, especially LIVE. You have been warned.
7.3K views in one day. Yep, The Warning Army is sometimes The Swarming Army, too! haha It's always fun to see reactors who are new to The Warning start tumbling down the rabbit hole. Hang on, it's a hell of a ride! 🤟
More of The Warning pleeze! They are by far the best rock trio on the planet 🌎 right now, and yes they did make a song with Band-Maid. It was a collaboration between Mexico and Japan. Thank you for your reaction to this fantastic group of three sisters! Rock! ❤️
Great introduction to this band, 3 sisters from Monterey Mexico who have absolutely been rocking the rock world for a bit now. Seriously, there is not a bad song in their whole catalog. Yes, some are better than others due to individual preference, but all the songs are great. Welcome to The Warning Army (TWA) of fans and am looking to see you react to more from these girls. Many suggesdtions from the comments and all are good suggestions so just pick one and go with it.
Enjoyed your reaction. These ladies are really something special. Please continue down this rabbit hole. You won't be disappointed, and may even discover your new favorite band like so many of us have. Peace! 🤘
Seen these amazing sisters earlier this year in Leeds and can't wait to see them again in London in April it's a fascinating journey to follow from children to the young ladies you see today enjoy your journey
Any song from the Teatro Metropolitan and the Pepsi Center (both in CDMX or Ciudad De Mexico or Mexico City) is worth listening to. The Teatro concert is a bit older, but in my opinion, it's one of the best concerts ever preformed and recorded. They've never really put out a bad song considering that their older songs were written by them when they were in their early teens and Alejandra was even a pre-teen. Their videos are pretty artistic also.
They are from monterey mexico 3 sisters, dany lead vocals & guitar, ale on bass & vocals and pau on drums & vocals. Welcome to the rabbit hole that is The Warning, you`ve been warned.
As others have said, they may look young (and they are) but they've been a working band for over 10 years with 4 full albums out. They really do shine on stage and seem to be one of the few bands that sound better live than in the studio (at least in my opinion). All three sing and can trade off lead/backing/harmonies (though Ale, the bassist and youngest, chooses not to sing lead currently). Pau (drummer) has a handful of songs that she sings lead (23, Dust to Dust, Narcisista are all excellent choices) and trades off lead on songs like Sharks and Consume from the latest album. They are a rather unique rock group in that they blend elements from a bunch of different rock genres and have a classic feel while making their stuff sound like their own. They also are rarely flashy with solos or super fancy instrumentation. They are very focused on writing what works for the song and what will be fun for the audience. It would be impossible for you to choose a bad song to react to, anything from Teatro 2022, Pepsi Center 2023 are all excellent. There are a lot of older choices too that you can make get to eventually (their 2017 tedtalk is especially special to fans).
When in Jan. 2019, 3 sisters aged 18, 16 & 14, played as headliners at the legendary Whiskey A Go GO in Los Angeles, fans flew in from Europe, South America & North America. The management offered them a lifetime pass after that show!!! In 2019, The Warning Army UK branch started a Kickstarter campaign for a private show in London in late 2020. As luck would have it Covid disrupted everything. So in 2023 during their 1st Euro tour, The Warning hosted a private show for those fans at Bush Hall, London. They ended that tour, comprising of 17 concerts spanning 7 countries within a month, at O2 Academy 2 Islington, London in front of about 800+ delirious fans. Fast forward to April 2024. The Warning gave 19 concerts in 10 countries in 23 days, culminating with 2300 fans at O2 Forum Kentish Town, London!!! They have already announced dates in April 2025 at O2 Academy Brixton, London that holds 4900+ And I haven't even talked about rest of UK, Germany & Spain.
The Warning Army UK branch started their Kickstarter campaign on Feb 6 2020 and ended it on Feb 25 2020. I was one of 30 people who pledged £300 for a VIP ticket. Another 117 fans together pledged another £8,498 to bring the total to £17,498 ( _23,410.963 US Dollars_ ) and that kind of paid for their trip and stay in London.
As a proud member of the UK-branch of The Warning Army you have just found that the future of rock music is in the capable hands of this trio of very talented sisters from Mexico. The Warning are Daniela (Dany) - 24, guitar & lead vocals, Paulina (Pau as in POW) - 22, Drums, sometimes lead vocal & backing and Alejandra (Ale) - 19, bass, backing vocals and effortless cool. Despite their ages they are already 10+ year veterans of their art (so yes, Ale was barely 9 years old when they recorded their first full album) and whatever "it" is, they have it in spades. Many, myself included, gravitate to Pau and I am convinced she is a part-human/part-nuclear reactor hybrid and can easily become the centre of attention. She does just play (and by that I mean beat the living hell out of) the drums, she performs on the drums and while they all contribute to the process, she is the primary song writer and conceived an entire concept album (Queen of the Murder Scene) at 15 years old. But until you see them live you don't fully appreciate how good they are or just how petite they are. Ale is relatively average standing at mid 5 feet, but Pau is barely 5ft tall and Dany isn't that much taller. They are bi-lingual, having been taught at an English-speaking school (before music took over full time), but because of where they come from they do speak with American accents. They have 3 Spanish lyric songs, one of which (Martirio) is my personal favourite track, despite not understanding a word of what's being sung. They were invited (the only non-nominated artists to do so that year) to record 2 segments to be broadcast during the 2023 VMAs). Upon arriving they were told they could lip-sync to a backing track, but they were having none of it. They were then advised that they'd have a maximum of 3 takes for each performance. They nailed both their tracks in one take, "Evolve" and another called "More", and as they left the stage area there were reports from the floor crew that all they could hear over their headsets was the floor manager exclaiming "Holy Sh*t!!". There's a ton of content on their channel for you to explore from the 2014 cover of Metallica's Enter Sandman when they were still children, right up to the current day. That early cover caught the attention of Metallica themselves, has some 25 million views, and resulted in them being invited to contribute a cover of the same to Metallica's 30th Anniversary "Blacklist" album. This new cover is quite different but also pays homage to the original. They've already opened for some notable bands in their home country - Def Leppard, Foo Fighters, Guns N Roses and, most recently, their heroes Muse. There's a very sweet short video on their channel called simply "11 years in the making" where they are given the news that they'd be opening for Muse - the reaction say it all. Such was the impression they made on Muse with their performances that Matt Bellamy personally invited them to join them on dates in the UK and Europe a couple of months later and Matt also had a custom guitar built for Dany. It is the same guitar you see in this performance. So, us fans in the UK have Muse to thank for bringing them over and I've had the chance to see them twice in London - last year and again earlier this year. I already have my ticket for their show at the historic Brixton Academy next April which I believe this will be the largest headline show they will have performed outside of Mexico. The last band I saw there was a little outfit called Queen and The Warning are the only band I've paid to support since becoming a member of the Queen fan club. Their most recent material is from their 2023 Pepsi Centre show (the show this performance is taken from), which I think was an anniversary (10 years) and homecoming show so they pulled out all the stops. But the previous year's Teatro Metropolitan show is also very much worth watching (even if you do so outside of the channel). Their studio & music videos are good, but they do turn it up to 11 when performing live, even at modest venues (my first experience being at one with a capacity of 600 with very little in the way of lighting or effects - just 3 young ladies rocking their hearts out and, at times, looking a little overwhelmed that people on the other side of the Atlantic knew the words to their songs). Another reactor, Phil Zero, recently saw them live and he commented that seeing them live in person is even more impactful than seeing a live video. All things being equal I think they're going to explode very soon. Certainly the work they've put it supports this. And, after all of this, they are actually 3 of the nicest, humble people.
Great reaction! They are amazing! Looking forward to your discovery of these amazing sisters! I absolutely love all of their stuff, but my introduction to them was their retake of "Enter Sandman". It's actually on Metallicas Black album.
Sisters from Mexico. Probably 23, 21 and 18 years old at this Mexico City concert,. This concert was the 10th anniversary of the band. They started the band as just tots. Their cover of Enter Sandman when they were just 9, 12 and 14 went viral with 20M+ views. Metallica even commented on that video that the Drummer (Pau) kicks major ass. Then many years later included The Warning on Metallica's Black List album. The rest is history and a deep rabbit hole for you both.
What a great reaction. Be prepared, The Warning Army is coming to fill your comment section. Guaranteed. You have no idea how much fun you are going to have going down this rabbit hole. The Warning is about to take over the rock world. You got here just in time. I suggest your next reaction should be Evolve live from the MTV VMAs. Strap in and don't forget to turn it up. As all Warning fans say, "You have been Warned!"
Yes, they did a collaboration eith Band Maid including a joint concert in Tokyo, AND I WAS THERE! It was amazing. They did a song tigether called Shiw Them. You should react to it soon. And niw, you must get to know the Warning. They are three sisters from Mexico.
Welcome to The Warning Army and enjoy the dive into one of musics best rabbit holes! Plenty of good suggestions in the comments below but my recommendation is to watch it all, not just the music but also interviews, BTS, vlogs etc. They're not just great artists but even better human beings and that combination is what made many of us a fan for life. 😊
Welcome to The Warning Army! I love watching Reactors first time seeing and hearing them. Live is their superpower as you will soon see. So many others have given you the information about the band. All I can say is that after seeing them live twice I recognized that these super-talented sisters are special. The Warning is a once-in-a-generation phenomenon. With talent, energy, stage presence, personalities, beauty, brains, and humility, and they are so appreciative of their fans, The Warning Army (TWA) loves them, and they love us. Their backstory is like a true-life fairy tale of dreams coming true (with much hard work and dedication). The Warning is a gift to everyone who loves rock music. I subbed your channel so I can watch your journey into the awesome world of The Warning.
Yes, they are one who sang with their friends Band-Maid. Yes, they are young. Lead singer and eldest sister Dany is 24, drummer and also lead singer Pau is 22, and the bassist is the baby sister Ale at 19 years of age. They are from Mexico. People became fans when they discovered a video of the sisters in 2014, as tiny little kids at 9, 12 and 14 years old, doing a cover of Metallica’s Enter Sandman in their basement to show their grandparents! At that young age they also did covers of Muse. When they got older they opened for Muse. Here, you see Dany playing a mustard yellow Manson guitar gifted to her by one of her idols, Matt Bellamy of Muse. Dany tells their fans, “learn the songs, so you can sing it with us.”
This three-piece is:
Daniela (Dany, 24yo, guitar)
Paulina (Pau, as in POW-er, 22yo, drums)
Alejandra (Ale, pronounced AH-lay, 19yo, bass)
All three sisters sing, and all are classically trained on piano.
From The Warning’s RUclips page you might choose from:
- Hell You Call a Dream, Z, or Choke or anything else from this 2023 Pepsi Center Live performance
- MORE or EVOLVE from the MTV VMAs
- S!CK or Automatic Sun live studio performances from either MTV Push or Jimmy Kimmel
- The official music video for their new releases Six Feet Deep, S!CK or Que Mas Quieras (in Spanish)
- The official music video for XXI CENTURY BLOOD
- SURVIVE from their 2017 TedX talk
There are really no bad choices.
Thank you, we really appreciate the introduction! SUPER EXCITED TO CHECK OUT MORE!! We do love a rabbit hole!
Great reply, I wish I could put words together like that, so...what he said :P
From mexico. 100 % the best rock band now days
The Villarreal sisters are the pride of Monterrey Mexico. The most dynamic power trio on the scene today!
Three sisters from Mexico, completely bilingual (Spanish is their mother tongue, English second language), they also speak a little of French.
Here is your homework-
So many reactors know nothing about The Warning, or have gotten wrong information about these ladies so this is a brief history of the band-
The Warning is made up of 3 sisters from Monterrey, Mexico.
They were 14, 12, and 9 years old: ruclips.net/video/1boUYB9LFJY/видео.html
• Another person who saw that video was Ellen DeGeneres and in 2015 the girls made their US debut on the Ellen show.
2015 performances of Muse’s Hysteria (10-year-old Ale´ steals the show on bass): ruclips.net/video/fU26wmlF3yg/видео.html
• Here is the Ellen show visit, and a diary of their time at the Burlee College of Music, along with a visit to Harmonix Studios (the creators of the Rock Band video game) with a surprise at the end: ruclips.net/video/3eV1VGel4lE/видео.html
• Here is a 2016 Ted X performance from The Warning: ruclips.net/video/dyJlh0tNK6Y/видео.html
• Here is a 2017 Ted X performance from The Warning: ruclips.net/video/pj5ue3M-v6o/видео.html
• Dany sings lead on about 75% if the songs.
Here is the official music video: ruclips.net/video/9tKQgesCcTc/видео.html and here is the live concert version with Alessia Cara’s background vocals: ruclips.net/video/vg9vNE7gm0I/видео.html
• In 2020, after 7 months of negotiations they signed with Lava/Republic records and went straight into the studio to record an album.
Entire 2022 Teatro Metropolitan CDMX Concert: ruclips.net/video/7hbBa1-1p7M/видео.html
• In 2023 they opened 4 shows for their absolute idols Muse in Mexico City in front of 60,000 fans.
Only about 6 people in the crowd even knew who they were but as you can see from the 2 songs the audience quickly fell in love with them-
o More: ruclips.net/video/cZWSDsDsbZU/видео.html
o Evolve: ruclips.net/video/97Pxe9KTgJc/видео.html
• In 2024 they released their fourth album Keep Me Fed which ushered in a new and more sophisticated sound. Here are some songs from the new album-
o Automatic Sun: ruclips.net/video/PDFH9AcPpyA/видео.html
o Burnout: ruclips.net/video/HfLRHEuvOT4/видео.html

• In August of 2024 they played the Poland Rock festival at midnight in front of nearly 300,000 people and just rocked the house. The audience and show MC fell in love with them and sang a special song of appreciation back to them at the end.
• There is so much more about they ladies to learn but this will get you started
• As they say “You Have Been Warned”!
Great recap of the Warning story.👍
lots of info.........great breakdown
@@timnye718 I also downloaded it quicky and agree its an absolute highlight!
You´re not wrong, they have a colaboration with Band Maid, when they meet in the Warning tour in Japan, both bands are fan of each other, and create the song "Show Them".
They actually met here in the States at the Aftershock Festival.
@@charleswharmbyiii8401 which was the first meeting and they really hit it off, which lead to the Japan joint sessions and collab song.
The Warning Army in 3...2...1...
Big Warning Army guy here- LOVE your such pure, awesome reaction. The best is yet to come- be prepared to sucked-in; you'll never get out- you won't want to anyhow.
Thank you 🙏🏻
I'm addicted to watching people discover The Warning! Everyone has the same reaction I did, utter amazement.
Wacken!!!😀🤯🤘🏻
Soo glad your doing some of the Warning, they are such talented sister's. Love their energy, their sound, and their drummer is mind blowing how she sings and drums at the same time!
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED, you know what you've gotten yourself into. It's an exciting journey through the history of one of the greatest bands
You two are such a cute couple. As an older guy, it warms my heart to see you enjoying the kind of rock-and-roll I grew up on. Welcome to The Warning.
This whole concert is amazing but a great next step is "Dust to Dust / Dull Knives". They are from Mexico and have 3 songs in Spanish. You should check out the music video for "Que Mas Quieres". Banger of a song and the video was co-directed by the drummer (Paulina).
Wow. Your first Warning reaction. You will now go down the rabbit hole. All the songs from this Pepsi Center show are awesome. Have fun ! 🤟🏼🎸🥁🎸🤟🏼
Can't wait!
I suggest these TW songs: Money, Automatic Sun, Enter Sandman (with Alessia Cara) & Evolve (live VMAs)
BTW - Band Maid & The Warning are big fans of each other. They recently dropped a song collab called *Show Them*
They played a concert together in Tokyo back in June where they live debuted their collab...and oh yeah I was there!
It is on BM's new album, it was released on the 25th of Sept.

The Warning Army has arrived. Welcome to the rabbit hole. Keep going! They are amazing!
Welcome on board! This band is a gem! Greetings from the Nightwishland a.k.a Finland 🇫🇮
You've been Warned! They're three sisters from Mexico, and they rock.
This was great,i could feel the energy in the performance! Definately happy to check out more if you do more reactions to them!
Definitely!! We’re looking forward to it!
This is just the beginning! You will find tons of great music from The Warning. 👍😊
3 sisters from Mexico, and the best rock band on the planet.
Best live band I've ever experienced! Love these amazing women.
Welcome to The Warning! I hope you continue down this awesome rabbit hole, The Warning Army will be here with you!
There are a lot of good suggestions for videos in the other comments. You commented on how young they are, you should check out the video that got them started 10 years ago, their cover of Metallica's Enter Sandman when they were 9,12, and 14 years old. Great reaction.

The Warning did do a collaboration with Band-Maid. The two bands are actually fans of each other and they performed the song they collaborated on live in a show in Japan.
Love the warning they are amazing, es una banda de México 🇲🇽🙌🏼
Yes, best band going! And yes they did a collaboration with Band Maid a couple of months ago called Show them.
This show was from last fall, when they were 18,21 and 23, celebrating 10 years as a working band.
they collabed with band maid on a song called "show me" last year while they were touring in Japan
This whole concert is AMAZING. Best thing they ever did. Definitely keep going with it!

And I continue to reaffirm my humble but very own opinion that with its structure, its cuts, transitions, rhythm changes, modulations, choruses, pre-choruses, drum attacks, its endings…
All of this is masterful.
The new masters of rock:
The warning ⚡

Rock! ❤️
Welcome to The Warningmania! This is road of no return!! Great reaction!
Waves of never ending pleasure, play forever!
Una Banda de México, my friends!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Peace! 🤘
Thanks will definitely check out more!
You have been warned. Sincerely, the Warning Army. :-)
Seen these amazing sisters earlier this year in Leeds and can't wait to see them again in London in April it's a fascinating journey to follow from children to the young ladies you see today enjoy your journey
Been saying 4 years. Best band out there. Killers.
Excellent reaction they did two songs live at the MTV Awards 2023 EVOLVE and MORE a must see will not disappoint later.❤️😎🇺🇸
Better late than never. Consider yourselves Warned! … welcome to the Army!
3 Amazing sisters from Monterey MEXICO! Welcome to Rock n Roll Mexican Style 🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽
You have been warned!
I couldn't be prouder to say that they are ¡MEXICANAS! 🇲🇽💥⚡⚠️
They are from monterey mexico 3 sisters, dany lead vocals & guitar, ale on bass & vocals and pau on drums & vocals. Welcome to the rabbit hole that is The Warning, you`ve been warned.
Glad you two are doing The Warning. I really enjoy your reactions and you will have a lot of fun with them.
The mustard yellow Manson guitar was gifted to Dany by Matt Bellamy (Muse)
They have already announced dates in April 2025 at O2 Academy Brixton, London that holds 4900+
And I haven't even talked about rest of UK, Germany & Spain.
They are from Mexico 3 sisters
THE WARNING, THE BEST MEXICAN ROCKBAND!! 🤘🏻🇲🇽⚡❤️🔥
Small correction, Ale was I think 11 or 12 when they recorded their first album. She was 9 when they did the Enter Sandman cover.
@@GreatOutdoors1 👍
Great reaction! They are amazing! Looking forward to your discovery of these amazing sisters!
I absolutely love all of their stuff, but my introduction to them was their retake of "Enter Sandman". It's actually on Metallicas Black album.
Han sido advertidos por las diosas del rock. Saludos desde México.
TW and BM r friends and awesome together.
❤ BM and love TW ❤
You have been WARNED!!!! ⚡⚡⚡🤘🤘🤘
Three incredibly talented sisters from Mexico. Welcome to your new addiction. And yes, they did collab with Band-Maid and the song is AMAZING!
Los mexicanos TAMBIÉN cantamos en inglés!!!! 🎉 Viva THE WARNING! ❤
Excellent my friends... excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Warning: tres hermanas mexicanas con alto poder rockero!! 🤘🏼🇲🇽🤘🏼🇲🇽🤘🏼🇲🇽Viva the Warning!!
The videos on the warnings RUclips channel go back 14 years, have fun.
So glad you did the Warning I love your reactions to Ren and I love the Warning and yes they have done a song with Band Maid.
Thank you so much, we’re so glad you enjoyed 🙌🏼
You have been WARNED!! The army will follow🤘
