Agree, Japanese lyrics in metal just work...the musicality of MAYU's vocals with this band are enough for me. That flurry from TAMU at the end was EPIC. 🌸✨🌠

Yep. They rocketed to the top of my personal list. They have everything it takes to be HUGE: musical chops, excellent songwriting, incredible chemistry, and off-the-charts charisma.

They are finally coming to the States! They're on the ticket for the Aftershock festival in Sacramento in October. We're hoping they'll announce some additional US tour dates, as well. Their fellow Japanese rockers Band-Maid are also playing Aftershock and are playing several other US dates in October, and it'll be awesome if Nemophila ends up touring with them!
Nah fuck that Band Maid would be a dream show but the Maids are going no where near the Midwest or South, want Nemo on their own tour.
@@tackle47 I wish they were coming to the Midwest. I'm from St. Louis. Just bought tickets to the Houston show, since that's the closest. They also have a Dallas date, but i think that's it for the South. Hopefully Nemo will tour closer!
@@garykeeling2275 I am close in Columbia, as soon as I saw Aftershock I was hoping they would be together. Nemo has announcements coming March 3, think there is still a chance they tour together.
The best new band of the moment this track is all metal but they incorporate rap into songs as well you will love these Ladies. They never fail.

Great reaction. You should try listening to their songs Dissension and Revive. They just released their first album recently. It is top notch. Best I have heard in a long while. They also do some amazing covers. You should check out more of them they are amazing.

It's a niche scene, but it's an insanely good niche, with superb musicians coming out of the woodwork.

The meaning of the word 雷霆(RAITEI) in Japanese is "Thunderbolt"
Which proves once again that rap sounds best when you replace it with rock and you replace posers with experts.

Check out Babymetal, Maximum the Hormone and High and Mighty Color just to name a few Japanese bands. If you want to explore metal from other countries, Steve Terreberry did 2 videos recently where he looked at a bunch of bands, check them out for ideas. I highly recommend Bloodywood, they’re from India and they have rap elements too so you should definitely like them. Alien Weaponry are awesome too.
