She recently had the opportunity (along with some other base jumpers) to spend a few days jumping from the second tallest residential building in the world: the Princess Tower in Dubai (400 meters /1360 feet).
Video includes the world’s biggest zipline, the first woman to fly a wingsuit from a tower, gainers, pike front flip, pyramid.

Gorthaur111 there are two halves of the harness theres one around her waist and under her groin that keeps her inplace with the chute out
Luigi YT But that only secures her waist. What if she had an emergency and opened her chute while not parallel to the ground? Her shoulders could have slipped out. It's just unusual to see a harness SO loose.
@@ccee4117 BASE doesn't have EP's because they don't have a reserve. If she's opening in a unstable position then she's pretty screwed either way. Besides that, as long as her chest and leg straps are in place she's not coming out of her rig on opening no matter what.
Her legs would have to come off first...

Watching the building behind her gives me much better perspective how quickly death comes for those who actually intend it. Gravity doesn't mess around.
pulls chute at 8 seconds and about halfway , so you can change your mind at 10 and go back up

For everyone that thinks that she can slip out of the harness : SHE CAN'T. She has leg straps so in order to get out of the harness she has to pull herself up to get her legs out. The chest strap is ok to be a bit loose because if you have a bad position at opening it can break some ribs if it's too tight. I mean not in base jumping because you can't have too much speed because of the low freefall time but still its better a bit loose than too tight.
@Semper Fi She looks like she knows what she’s doing. Maybe if you had boobs you’d have a different opinion. Some days I don’t put on a seatbelt. There are way too many chest harnesses in my life, and none of them fit very well.
@@RaquelFoster “some days I don’t put on a seatbelt” well, you only use it in a crash so just put it on right before and you’ll be ok
@@aranthos Half the drivers I see put their hand at 12 o'clock on the steering wheel so they would get their arm blown back into their face by the air bag, except they'll be sure to move the arm if they see a crash coming so they'll be OK.
@@aranthos When I'm feeling the meaningless grid of being a corporate drone and the most I can do to feel human is to blatantly flaunt the law and leave my seatbelt off... well... That's embarrassing to think of my grandparents driving cars which just kill you in any crash over 40 mph and realize I'm driving a car that hits the brakes for me and has 10 air bags and massive side impact braces in the doors and the most dangerous thing I do all week is to leave my seatbelt off now and then. I just turned 45 and I'm thinking of starting smoking. 🙂

background music? I searched on RUclips, have not found one yet :-( . I
just want to see what the jumper is seeing from the start of the jump
until the end at the safe landing.

I noticed they all have that exhilaration when their chute opens...they yell in joy, as though they were not sure it would open. I would always worry about that and evidently, they do too.
I've jumped twice with an instructor and they always yell in joy when the chute deploys lol
I would as well given that not many seem to reach old age.

She seems so calm... Even when she's free-falling. She seems to not feel fear and/or anxiety at all.
When you're free falling you tend to be calm because it doesn't feel like you're falling. It's the bit before that's scaarryyy
At the end of the day she got the job done perfectly but the harness should have been fitted appropriately....
