My husband gets fawned over by women everytime he takes care of the kids or the toy dog without me being near by.
Meanwhile while I’m on my own that same group of women get super judgey and make rude comments. 😂😂😂😂

My dad was a boomer and did all these things...then when we were grown my parents adopted a special needs baby and did it all over again.miss them both and love my brother!
Edit they didn't adopt before asking me as at some point i would have to take over care. Wh8ch my husband and I do.

So you mean to tell me that NO ONE was helping the poor dad all by himself with his own children?! 🥹🥹🥹

I'm a boomer, and my dad did everything with us that mom did: changed our diapers, fed us, played with us,
everything except read to us. But then, he whistled songs for us and mom didn't so, we can really call it even. My dad did most of the cooking. But then, he was the eldest child of 6 and my mom was the youngest of 5. So he had a lot of experience helping
raise his siblings. And HIS dad did all that stuff too, because he reckoned that his wife went through a lot, what with 11 pregnancies, five of which she lost, and he actually LOVED his wife and his kids. I never thought that stuff was unusual until I went to my friends' houses. Things were sure different there.

As a modern day dad, if you see one of us with our kids in public, we really need your help. It's very confusing and I honestly don't know what to do with regards to food, sunscrean, bathroom breaks, etc. Your help, guidance, or just acknowledgement of our strife would mean so much to all us modern day dads out there.

As a father of a 9 month old, I really appreciate this ego boost
