Being a sequel to three different episodes was a bold move and well done. Toad’s relationship with other rolling stock characters is a subject matter I don’t think was ever touched upon. And aside from Escape Douglass and Oliver’s relationship between them wasn’t explored much
That was a great story. I liked how Toad interacted with the brake van from Series 2. The story works well and Toad was in character here 🙂 . I made the 700th like 😀.
I've especially wanted to mention that I personally love this video as I've noticed that it featured a flashback from the episode titled Break van when Douglas accidentally smashed the spiteful brake van to smithereens due to the fact that it was basically a very old brake van!
I've especially wanted to mention that I personally love this video also apparently featured a flashback from the time when Douglas rescued Oliver from the scrap heap along with his trustingly faithful brake van named Toad AFTER locating 'em on the Other Railway @ Barrow-in-furness!
I've especially wanted to mention that I personally love how they certainly had managed to easily include the mentioning of when Oliver pulled S.C.ruffey to smithereens due to the fact that S.C.ruffey was basically unserviceable with rotten wood along with rusty frames! I've especially wanted to mention that I personally heard that the spiteful brake van was basically out of date WHILE most of the brake vans including Toad certainly had been BASICALLY 100% COMPLETELY refurbished!
This was definitely a thing about Douglas and Toad that I had on my mind after watching an episode about both of them and Donald by Railfan#1 and a silly theory video that was not made for angering fans about Toad being evil. I think that in the RWS version of Escape, Douglas has Toad as his breakvan for awhile sometime before Oliver has kept him always forever because he trusts Toad than the spiteful one. Toad is also the one to discuss his plan of putting Scruffy in his place to Douglas in "Toad Stands By".
Toad : thanks for helping me and mister Oliver up the hill mister Douglas you really are a true friend and a credit to the NWR Douglas : Oh It's my honour Toad : I'm sorry about listening to that spiteful break van before Douglas : don't worry about it water under the bridge Oliver : well Toad now that Douglas has helped us, I hope you've learned something from this experience Toad : oh yeah never listen to rumours about mister Douglas ever again Douglas : from what it's worth you and Oli stand well together I will say he took Scruffy apart there's no denying that, now with that being said you must remember that I did the same to that spiteful break van on Gordon's hill when myself and Donald were brought on, Sir Topham Hatt however gave us another opportunity to prove ourselves useful but after all that he managed to let us stick around he kept you and Oli on this railway of course he even gave you another opportunity as well I just want you guys to know that Oliver : you know what? you're entirely correct Douglas, of course that spiteful break van didn't contain stone like Scruffy did even though they had the same attitude but we get your point Toad : well thank you so much for telling us your story mister Douglas Douglas : my pleasure
yeah remember how it caused a lot of trouble for the bigger engines until Douglas had to wait at Wellsworth in order for him to give James a boost up Gordon's hill and deal with the foolish spiteful break van once and for all himself? because I sure do, besides Toad should've known better than to listen to rumours from that spiteful van
What a lovely story. Of course the Adaptation was a bit rushed, which i only noticed at 1 scene, but nonetheless it was fantastic. Great job. May i just quickly ask, who's Reggie, y'all talked about before the story went LIVE? It's okay if you don't wanna answer, i'm just curious.
@@themillerstation Oh man, you used to edit for him? Small world. He was the guy who got me into Dragon Ball, and by extension, many other shows as well. He’ll definitely be missed. I loved the adaptation, always wanted to see an interaction between Toad and the Spiteful Brakevan. Seems no one on the Little Western can catch a break when it comes to goods trains.

Beautiful shot at 2:56.
Now that felt like a season 4-6 episode
This was a good story I like it was continuation from both 'Escape' and 'Toad Stands By'
It Would Be a Nightmare To Think, Douglas Would Smash Toad.
5:18 Douglas: Aw Shucks!
POV: only good thomas related miller
Well done. its shows you what happens when you allow fear to overcome truth.
never trust a spiteful brakevan.

Splendid job as always Liam. Keep up the good work.
Awesome story, may I do an adaptation of this story
Sure!
That was great!
Nicely done! 👏
Really like the retro visuals, really hits with the nostalgia.
Love it so much
Amazing work
Keep making more stories, well done btw!
Excellent work. It was even better than All Engines Go rubbish.
Marvellous!
I like to think this story took place during Season 4.
Will you use Brandon Polley and TheGermanofSodor’s SFX in the future please.
Hey mate, best wishes from the UK as always. Just back from hospital, hope you're doing well.
You hadn't been crushed in an accident too, had you?
It just like in Season 4-6 Version renfrence from Edward the really useful engine.
19 hours till this is 24 hours or 1 day old
The outro sounds familiar
Deja Vu

Reggie was known as Slick Goku. I used to edit for him and he was like a brother to me

Isn’t it good that Toad has never actually broken apart in the official series? Even when he has had accidents?
If I may ask, will there be new videos with CGI models?.
Douglas nearly got trauma
Damn Douglas is strong
Does Donald know that the Spiteful Brakevan is dead?
Why do they give Toad a tong
