This was a super fun project. If I could do it again, I would put the switch on the opposite side of the power cord. What you would guys do differently on yours?
@@HowIDoThingsDIY After seeing it completed white was right for the outside maybe silver on the inside to bounce more light. Looks better than what I would of done for sure lol
Nice! But, if you keep using that chop saw like that, you are going to be learning how to live life without a thumb at some point. Much safer to do that with a sled on a table saw. If the blade bites, the saw will ride up, and pull the piece into the chop saw with your hand as a bonus.
I saw you use a tool (twice) that clamped around the base to drill the hole for the dowel. What's the name of that? I've never seen a tool like that before.

Looks amazing I would of lightly burned the grain and left it that way then painted the panels silver but that is just me Love what you did here!
That's what's cool about building things. You get to build it exactly the way you want! Thanks for watching!

Great tip! Thanks. I have a cross cut sled I've been using more and more.
Could you please tell me how your belt sander is attached to the table? looks really useful
I put the handle in my bench vice. Its the first time I tried it and it was super helpful. My belt needs a little cleaning however. haha.

It's called a drill guide. I have a link to the one I used in my description. Thanks for watching!
