Assault Battle Mechs are only good for assault missions or good defense operations, due to their slow movement points, they can take a lot of damage, depends on the tonnage of the assault mech and the Mechwarrior,Thunder L.R.M.'s makes good defense operations hoping they step on the hex, that's why fighting in cities are good because you can set up your Thunder L.R.M.'s ahead in narrow passages and wait for your enemy in numbers, but hey this is another cool Battletech miniature battle. :)
Wizard's Playhouse In one variation of the card initiative, yes. The version we are using is a little more open to personal initiative; when a card of your color is drawn you may move any unit that has yet to move.
Not only does it alleviate the headache of determining when to start moving 2 units and the backloading of the initiative, it also allows for partial wins/failures in initiative. This was hugely important for the air war with the 2 taurian and the 1 WoB (that would otherwise be completely screwed on one roll).
Really enjoy your vids especially the battletech ones.
Awesome report, I love watching all of them.
I always enjoy these.
Enjoying all your BattleTech battle reports mate. Keep it up. :)
Fun as usual! Though a rough battle for the WoB.
So many shots in those last rounds! LOL. 😂🤣🤖
Woot, new stuff. Great.
Man, that Clan stuff is scary any way you turn them.
Yeah, it's like holding onto a shark by the tail.
And the shark's tail has a maw too, somehow.

Good batrep! When you do the cards does each mech have its own card?

I'm going to give it a try next time I play, I think it will add a little something to the movement phases

Did you use tactical operations rules in this match??? Is it worth getting??? Note I already have tech manual and core rulebook
s brameld Yes. TacOps is almost mandatory, we use a lot of the special rules in it to the point where it's almost as necessary as TotalWar.
What are the playing cards used for?
We use card initiative to help out with large games instead of keeping track of the backloaded initiative.
What kind of mats are you using?
