Evan's three point volume was at a career high in December (while shooting a career high percentage at the same time). So far in January, he's even higher than that (around 5 a game in just four games). So, that evolution is absolutely happening. The confidence is sky high since the Charlotte game. Love that he's taking multiple threes a game even if he misses his first few. That's a BIG step for a shooter and for him. He would take one or two more in a game if he hit his first, but in the past if he missed his first, he would go away from it. He was taking steps with this since returning from injury last year and has taken it to a whole new level this year. --- On his free throw shooting, he's been at 80 percent in multiple years of his career early in the season. The potential has always been there. It tapers off dramatically as the season goes on which said to me it was a conditioning thing. His conditioning/strength is improving so I don't think FTs will dip like years past.
This was a really fun conversation, thanks for nerding out!

I want Evan (3.2 free throws per game) to be an all-star just so he can get the kind of whistle that Shai does (8.7)
