It was released in the states. Santa brought me a copy of this for Christmas 1976. This sounds really good but it's not the same performance as the LP I got back then.
History is fragile stuff, Martyn. Your followup protest that the recorded concert was actually in November of 1977 sent me scrambling for verification. I found none. Instead, from a variety of sources, I found..."27th November 1976 - on this day. The "Live At The Palladium" album was recorded in London." "Live At The Palladium' by the Carpenters, which was only released in the UK and Japan, made its British chart debut on January 8, 1977."
Hi Thanks for that ..yes sorry I realised my mistake which is why I quickly deleted my comment! ..my memory is not as good as it used to be!! ..but having checked back in my diaries I was at this concert on 22nd November 1976! ..! Best regards Martyn
Carpenters eu escutava muito nos anos 80 quando tinha uns 5 anos eu me lembro que meus primos escutavam muito eu gostei também. Musicas dos anos 70 80 e 90
I have this on cassette and I love the idea of having it on cassette, I don't know why because I mostly listen to heavy metal, but I think this is amazing, I still don't know why i like it, 👍
This band is great ..And you singer voice incredible! Very limpid and professional...❤
Karen's vocals have always been hauntingly beautiful. When coupled with her life story and demise, it adds to the emotive experience of listening.
Brilliant. Best female voice Ever! Nat King Cole is my male favorite

This brings back great memories as I was lucky enough to have been at one of the concerts at the palladium in November 1976!

Carpenters are one of my favourite singers
Such a haunting voice that I would know within 3 seconds of hearing it. Now I am just going to relax and enjoy the music ✌❤
There’s Never a lyric you can’t hear. As Brilliant as she was/is , I always go a little sad because she left us Way way too soon
