RIP Robbie. Yes, that is Willie's son Lukas. The 2 women in Jamaica are standing in front of Bob Marley's childhood home.

You have to watch the end. Robbie's smile at the end is the best

Friend, the good thing about Playing for Change is, Ringo and all the other famous musicians, do it for free. The money PFC makes goes into founding music and elementary schools all over the world. Some musicians are even teaching there.
    Elmar from Germany.

Thats so cool... how amazing of them to use their weight for such a cause! I hope it feels amazing for them. Much love from Canada!

Thanks, BEL! Playing for change is an amazing organization... I love so many of their collabs.. there are many others featuring original artists and "famous" musicians.. who are incredibly humble and generous in allowing world-wide musicians to interpret their songs... some of my favorites are a version of Marvin Gaye's "What's going on" and the classic "Wonderful World".. as well as "Stand by me".. such a cool concept... appreciate your reaction, and hope you listen to more...

The song' The Weight ' was written by the late ,great Robbie Robertson of The Band in 1968 ... that would make the tune 55 years old by my calculations and it sounds as brilliant and relevant and fresh all these years later ! I would call that true songsmith talent ...RIP Mr Robbie , you were an exceptional musician of the finest kind .

What’s not to love. This is just the coolest open jam ever. Marcus has got the neatest voice, so smooth. RIP Robbie Robertson. 🙏 Also, hugs to Ringo from me a fellow Liverpudlian. I’ll always support him for his message of peace and (as demonstrated here) harmony. Btw my dad knew the Beatles a little from back in the Cavern days. John Lennon’s sister Julia even stayed at our house once for a week years ago too. She wrote a book on growing up with John, but she’s so interesting in her own right. She also wrote a great book called Phosphoresence which is worth checking out if you are a reader.

Lucas Nelson is Willie's boy. In the post production video he said he was honored to help make this and he always admired the version of the weight and the staples.

Great reaction! You should check more from Playing for change, their versions of "When the levee breaks", "Colors" and "Get up stand up" are awesome, like all of their repertory. Cheers!
