The ticket price is INR 990++ for Chair Car seats!
The following was served

2. Tea & Digestive Biscuits as you board!
3. Idli, Sambar, Chutney, Vada, Apple juice, Kesari & Chiwda for Vegetarian Breakfast

The reason it doesn't reach 180 is because the tracks are not capable of handling such speeds. Until and unless the tracks go through some maintenance it won't be possible
Not maintainance but upgrade is needed
Its not a matter of maintainance. Its because of too many bends. No matter how fast trains itself can travel, it still has to slow down because of our convoluted routes.

@@user-Unknown-bruhh ACTUALLY IN NORTHERN REGION, AND WESTERN REGION - DELHI MUMBAI AND DELHI HOWRAH TRACKS ARE BEING UPGRADED AFTER WHICH TRAINS CAN RUN AT 180 KMPH AND SOUTHERN REGION MANY TRACKS ARE BEING UPGRADED INCLUDING BENGALURU CHENNAI AFTER WHICH TRAINS CAN RUN AT 160 KMPH.
IN PLAIN AREAS TRACKS UPGRADATION IS CHEAPER AND FASTER THAT'S WHY PLAIN AREAS HAVE HIGHER SPEED.
VANDE BHARAT ALUMINIUM VERSION CAN RUN MUCH FASTER THAN IT'S CURRENT STEEL VERSION ON SAME TRACKS AS IT WILL BE LIGHTER THAN STEEL VERSION. GOVERNMENT PLAIN IS TO LAUNCH VANDE BHARAT ALUMINIUM VERSION WITH TILTING TECHNOLOGY BY 2025 AND IT WILL BE GAME CHANGER FOR INDIAN RAILWAYS. THOSE TRAINS CAN EASILY RUN AT 220-250 KMPH AFTER SOME TRACKS AND SIGNALLING UPGRADES.
WHEN TRAINS USED TO RUN AT 100-130 KMPH ON DELHI TO MUMBAI TRACKS AND THAT TIME TALGO TRAIN WAS ABLE TO RUN AT 180 KMPH FOR STRAIGHT 200 KM AND THERE PLAN WAS TO TEST AT 220 KMPH BUT I DON'T KNOW WHY GOVERNMENT REJECTED THAT PLAN. TALGO TRAIN WAS ALUMINIUM TRAIN WITH TILTING TECHNOLOGY.
SO WE CAN EXPECT THAT IN NEXT 4-5 YEARS, WE CAN SEE OUR TRAINS CAN RUN AT 220-250 KMPH ON OUR CONVENTIONAL TRACKS. AND TRAIN WITH SPEED GREATER THAN 200 KMPH IS CALLED HIGH SPEED TRAINS.
As a German I would love to try this train. It looks so comfortable.

I also travelled through Vande Bharat from Bhilai to Nagpur. Food was great and it reached in 3hr 15 min whereas other train take atleast 4 hr
Bhai other trains took 3 hours to go from bhilai to gondia😂 vande bharat is really fast if they took 3 hours 15 minutes for bhilai to nagpur.

I actually like the fact that u have to open the doors, the tracks are seen and how the coach is overall. I get nostalgia just thinking about it. It’s signature to India. Good work though!!

Even I travelled on vande Bharat express and the train had another fabulous feature that allowed us to turn the seat 180 degrees towards the window and I have actually experienced this in many trains but this time I was travelling with my friends to a basketball tournament and in the train I fell asleep and as soon as I woke up I got scared as the window was right in front of me as my friend bought it would be funny to play a prank on me. And if I remind you it was 6 in the morning and I had a nightmare.
This is how we can spread some positive about the Vande Bharat 👍👍 🚩

Normal High Speed rail can go from 220 to 300 at normal speed.

Vande Bharat is nit the fastest running train currently.
Many trains are running at maximum 130kmph.
Gatiman Express is the fastest with 160kmph.
In fact trains which are capable of running at 110kmph never exceed 90kmph.
First we need to ensure that trains can run at their full speed before making trains with even higher speed because that is serving no purpose.
I took vande bharat train from Bhopal to jhasi , had breakfast but mid ot that masaala tea was my fav❤
Even though its nice to sit in a smooth ride that sound of train and little shake and wiggle while sleeping made train rides so satisfying

This is the only time you will taste this quality of food, try to revisit this experience after 2-3 months.
That’s a nice train considering the traffic in India. Elsewhere (not in India) I’ve seen cars on highways drive at 100-110kmph which feels much faster than driving in India, with especially traffic delaying the trip.
Come and see the new Greenfield access control expressways inaugurated recently.. they're literally everywhere reducing the travel cost & time by a significant margin. You can now drive on high speeds with your car at most routes
No one is even complaining about how even after 16 years of bullet trains we in India are not able to reach just half(150 km/h). A normal train runs at a speed of 101 to 120(Highest) and the reason for the delay is because of crossing and rail management.I can assure u all that this will be the same case for Vande Mataram after 4-5 years. It is just a high end looking stuff like we used to have the royal trains but technologically it is way behind after all these years we just got a upgrade of 7km/h to 10km/h.
Vande Bharat is serving way better food than International Flight Air India
180km/h is not a fact but the safety alongside the tracks is more important
Ya i also went from kolkata to doars with my family it was very fast and the train was going 120km/h. The train hygiene was very nice and the coffee was lovely❤

We travelled diring covid era... That's why i hate it... It was a long journey of eight hours and we didn't even served bottle of water... But yeah... We bring our own snacks and chai... And that mesmerizing moment with my family was so wholesome ❤

Vande Bharat Express train can touch 200 kmph, and tested safely upto 180 kmph, on Bhopal - Jhansi section, but is allowed to run at only upto 130 kmph as Maximum Permissible Speed, that too only at specified sections due to multiple speed restrictions.
As far as I know only H. Nizamuddin to Jhansi, Gatiman Express and H. Nizamuddin to Rani Kamlapati (Bhopal), Vande Bharat Express are 2 of 3 trains which are given 160 kmph Max Permissible Speed.
This is due to track conditions.
Vande Bharat, Tejas, Shatabdi, Rajdhani, Duronto, or Humsafar express trains comes under premium category, so they run on high priority, with minimum non-scheduled halts. This is why they can be seen arriving before time.
This is the case generally with Vande Bharat, Shatabdi, and Tejas express trains, because these trains do a round trip journey, on the same day.
Vande bharat from Bilaspur to Nagpur also servers very well 😊😊
