Interesting video that ben, I remember my old fella doing his Marine VHF in the nineties when he had his RIB, great days. I have a few marine VHF radios including a Icom M604 that i picked up from a boot sale years ago for £25. 😀
it was okay, but very university level radio tech speak. Its the sort of video an instructor would want to watch and a novice or intermediate would need to google afterwards to get it explained again in non tech english.
Thanks for the feedback. This is the first video I've done in that style, where I had a scripted my research. I'll endeavour to try and explain elements better in future videos. Thanks for watching and commenting. Ben.
I'm here to say this was efficient content, though any redundance was because I'm from "across the pond". I'm sure commercial barge, ferry, and catching are seriously tended, but private boating is a Lemmings March. Maybe this will spread to roads one day, too many cruise the highways like a kayak trip, or a dragstrip.
Very interesting, thanks for the post Ben
Thanks for watching. I'm glad you enjoyed it 👍

Cheers Neil, that sounds like a bargain for M604! Thanks for watching 👍
@@m7frs272 I wasn’t expecting it to work but it does or it did when i last used it anyway. I will drag it down for a play sometime.
Really enjoyed this video. I thought I was already subscribed but looks like I wasn’t. I am now, keep up the great content! 73, Walt K4OGO

VERY little real info. From a G4 and 50 year sailor.
Sorry to disappoint, thank for watching anyway.
