I remember having CB radios in my cars in the seventies and eighties. They were 23 channels not 40. I have a 40 channel CB hand held but not much chatter on them anymore.
You don't hear much talking on a CB radio 📻 anymore thanks to Companies having truckers use headphones with a microphone to communicate. Some old school truckers still use CB radios. Great looking install Jimmy.
Excellent video I always have Cb in my base station for back garage and plus my car and work truck too! When on farms did one all 3 main tractors also antenna also combine to and plus pickup and stake trucks years ago! Even my dad had one in Highway Tractor Truck too for years plus own vehicles 23 and 40 channels types!
My wife would absolutely love for me to put a GMRS system into her vehicle. Once we buy property it'll be a necessity. She'd be so pumped to use it lol

I've added a CB to one of my trucks. And will be adding another CB to my other truck. Cb isn't going anywhere, just been resting 😎👍
I wish the use of CB radios would come back. I would certainly instal one in my car and in my house.
I use my Galaxy radio everyday. They are still alive and well.
Alot of people still talk on CB radios it's not dead for sure

I am in a local group and many are getting CB radios and/or GMRS handsets. Could be very useful!!

btw, I would now only run FM mode between my convoy partners...the audio is so much better.
