I have one it’s the best ever BMW really did a great job with this car. I had the 6 first but it was no leg room in the back but the 7 made up for all that. Lol. On my way! to see another one 2morrow. But the price thingy is definitely scary. I’ll let you know how I make out. 😊
Regarding the price of the X7 the 7 series is so much more expensive for a seriously ugly car with mind bending tech that it makes the X7 seem good value.
Isnt its Servicing usually conditiion based? its 5 yr pricing doesnt look too unreasonable . But once you start adding runflats etc to the cost thats likely to hurt. Had a friend a few yrs ago in an X5 that destroyed a rim & tyre . I gather it was about $3500 or around that to get a replacent . They were stranded in a town in QLD for several days until one was flown in from brisbane!
May be a fantastic car...but the depreciation on that thing will be utterly biblical. Wait 6-12mths when the dumb millionaire gets rid of it and you can buy it for half price.
Also a fine idea if you aren't fussed on choosing the spec yourself. As for me, I'd keep one long-term (5 years+) rather than worrying too much about depreciation.
@@chasingcars Uhhhh....problem. It's a BMW. It'll self-defecate all over the road after 3yrs. Who the hell would keep one for 5 years?? I don't normally worry about depreciation as a rule, but when it comes to anything from BMW or Land Rover, it's a wise idea to seriously consider it. Especially on their bigger cars, which are known to lose the equivalent of a small country's GDP in depreciation.
Absurd to put M Sport badges on a car like this. But BMW have totally cheapened the M sport name by putting it on every model they sell. I’d take a Discovery every day of the week over this
You did a great job with this review mate. I really enjoy watching Aussie reviews for our shitty roads.
Gorgeous spec, and I think it looks great for a large SUV. Sporty and classy at the same time.
Agreed
i'd go for the 40i the b58 is such a good engine
I thought the captain's chairs don't fold down flat?
Nice video! Thanks for sharing 😊
It all depends upon your net worth. If you’re worth one million you’d be nuts to buy. 4 or 5 million or more then no worries.
Could buy four CX-5 for that cash. Or a top spec turbo CX-5 with $140,000 left in the bank.
Or you can just take the bus!
At least compare the car to a CX-9 or CX90 which also has 7 seats to compare
@@sunnysok9908 I’m happy enough with my top spec CX-5. Now to think about what to get with my left over $140,000 🎁
Sure, the only issue with that…. it’s a Mazda.
Go for the 21 inch rim with non run flat tires. The ride is like riding on a cloud.
Hi, do you have any issues with the A/C system being weak on the X7?. Which model year do you have?. Thanks.
My thoughts exactly
@@tatoweb i have the 2021 x7 40i, and I don't have a problem with the AC. It is better than the one in my wife's car, a panamera.
Thanks Tom. Another great review on the BMW.
Catch is that this refresh version in now uglier and more expensive.
I'll probably never afford any of them but if i wanted to play in this space it would be CX-80/90 for mine
X7 M60i is the best of all three variants

How did you go?
compared to x740i...Which has best ride

Current driveaway -$190,000+

It technically is condition based but BMW markets it as a five year plan.
It costs as much as a house
lol where???
Take out the luxury tax etc and it's quite reasonable.
And the stamp duty fmd

Half price in 6-12 months? You are dreaming. I've not found a single 2022 X7 that costs around 100k yet. Please link me one if you know any.
@@HaruHaruman It's called levity champ. Chill.
I am happy to pay 60% of its original price....
Land Cruiser Sahara ZX is way better for less money and better resale
The Landcruiser and X7 can't really be compared...

It’s still pretty ugly…
