Hey Matthew, I’m so envious of the discipleship you received from your father-in-law in Torah and as a mentor! Obviously, I mean that in a positive way. These are things that I have never experienced in the Pentecostal movement nor since coming into Torahr. I do feel it’s time for me to become that witch. I didn’t receive and make disciples gathering people on Shabbat. If you would please keep me in your prayers, I appreciate it.
Shabbat shalom. I really enjoy your teachings. I love and long every week for Shabbat to come. He led me years ago to the Sabbath and then to offgrid homesteading, raising ducks and goats. I can never completely do no work because animals will give you no rest or peace if you don’t give them food and water. This Shabbat is particularly challenging because 9 baby goats were born over the past two weeks, the last two, born five days ago, sadly became orphans the day they were born. Being a surrogate mother goat makes it nearly impossible to rest, with bottle feedings every four hours, cleaning up the aftermath, and keeping them clean and warm during a cold spell. I praise Yah for them and beg forgiveness for the work I know He understands I have to do. Kind of an ox in the ditch thing, I see it as. Makes me wonder what shepherds and goat herders back in the day did on Shabbat when such things happened. I’m so glad you mentioned the tassels. I have and would love to wear, but goats will find and chew on them no matter how I try to hide them.
were dealing with something similar! we had 7 abandoned baby lambs we have to feed every 4 hours. me and my sister care for them through the week and we all try to help during sabbath which makes things go by a lot smoother! i feel farmwork is immensely easier when you have family willing to lend a hand
I please for prayers for my daughter, Lydia. She hopes for a family and wants to meet a man who Loves the Lord and cares about the same things taught/shared here. She’s 26 and has been in sadness with date after date the last few years of men who professed faith but then did not truly care or believe. Her heart hurts in wanting a family with a husband who Loves the Lord. Thank you.
