I brought these old time grizzly biker buddies to see Phil Lesh & Friends at the Beacon Theatre in NYC back in the early 2000's - they had been to a few Grateful Dead shows "back in the day" including Watkins Glen so they were OK with GD stuff but not Hippy Jambands - Not. At. All.
So Trey just happened to guest that night, & they did something like 25 min versions of Dark Star & The Other One that went on & on & on & on & on . . . I was of course absolutely Thrilled, but, after the show, my biker buddies were all like "WHO WAS THAT TRAY ANESTHESIA KNUCKLEHEAD ?!?!?!!!!!!". So from then on, I ALWAYS call him TRAY ANESTHESIA & Phisheads are always like "WTF"?

Getting off work after a long shift and then driving all through the night just to sleep in a Burger King parking lot in the hot sun for a couple of hours, dance the entire show on molly and the drive again though the night on gas station cappuccinos and Winstons just in time to be nearly 100% worthless on morning shift the next day. The hotdog stunt looked dangerous but all 4 were on shrooms and lsd i am sure so they did not care unless a fan actually died like in 2021 then it all the sudden matters because of lawyers jail and cops it never got real because the hotdog never fell LOL

? The fan that died in 2021 is in no way the bands responsibility, nor would there be any need for lawyers to get involved with the band. that is a venue situation, and purely a venue situation. Jail? Cops? wtf are you even talking about?

@@danielhiggins5907 I grew up in Philly in the 1970's. Fans used to die all the time at concerts at the old Spectrum. It was quite easy to climb out on the trusses that held up the roof from the 4th level upper upper deck. They tried to fence it off but tripsters always figured a way around or through. Inevitably they'd lose their grip & fall down, WAYYYYYY down, onto their fellow fans WAYYYYY below. Many severe injuries & fatalities over the decades.
I almost got crushed to death trying to get down to the downstairs bathrooms a few times at Wayyyyyy oversold Spectrum GD shows back in the day. Learned to stand on my tippy toes & pee into a trash can instead. Survival of the Phittest. Also - Philly!!!!!!

@@bluecollar825Big Cypress? Definitely acid and mushrooms MINIMUM. It was their favorite festival, those are their favorite drugs. 6+ hour set. Insane jams. Definitely weren't doing MDMA. Maybe some nitrous, ketamine or Salvia. Definitely some blow and alcohol. Possible weed. Possible DMT. This is based on their history, personal statements, interviews etc etc crossreferencing but could all be bullshit
