Thank you for the video. I grew up in potato area in the US. It looks like it is a 2 step process 1) Tractor pulls the device that gets the potatoes out of the dirt and puts them in a concentrated row. 2) Tractor pulls a device that lifts potatoes up and they end up in a trailer or truck. If this is the case, it was a bit confusing when step 1 was shown since that was shown after step 2.
Sorry about that, I see what you mean. The first tractor is lifing the potatoes into a row which the harvester picks up. This is done so that the potato harvester is pretty much picking up 8 rows worth of potatoes in a 2 row beds. It helps speed up the process. Thanks 👍
The only way to pick spuds!! Oh the memories of hand picking spuds for school fund raising and a little pocket money as a kid. As a farmer I'm so happy for today's tech and equipment. Thanks for the video...Bruce.
