Just saw this. Hope it’s going well.
I’ve been using Factor for almost a year for lunch and dinner and love it. The blackened salmon meal is my favorite. I’ve had very few issues compared to other services and find their email support is better than phone. I never miss an episode of DVC Newscast with you and Pete and I’m really enjoying your cruise blogs, Shannon. Best to you and your family!

Great Review! I just ordered the 18 meal bundle with a $99.00 off as a new customer! Have you ever tried Optavia meals? It's a healthy eating plan that encourages eating smaller portions but eating every 2.5 to 3 hours.

Optavia is terrible it’s not real food it’s all powdered and freeze dried food not to mention well over 400$ a month with an MLM style

How long do you cook the meals when they are frozen and Have you tried the Shakes???
2 minutes. No I haven’t tried the shakes but I’ve done the green juices and shots a couple of times. Still getting the meals too.

Are the meals filling? Do they have a lot of beef options, as I don't like chicken, pork or seafood?
Yes to filling. There are some beef options. More chicken but beef is available in some meals.
How do they deliver? They don’t look like they are packed to sit in sun all day, in 100 degree heat on the porch until you get home.
Packed with ice bags in a disposable cooler. Yes, I would agree they are not designed to sit outside all day. However, I have brought mine in and not opened them until later and they are fine
I got my box and it is heavily insulated with ice packs. I brought it inside the minute it arrived. I removed the huge ice packs and placed them in the sink - uninsulated...these ice packs took over 24 hours to completely melt and even after they melted they were extremely cold. I think if the box has to sit in a hot porch, the insulation surrounding it plus the several ice packs it will be enough for the day.....just my opinion
You say you freeze some if they will go bad before you get to them....how long do they stay ok in just the fridge?
They say a week. I have had one a week later and it tastes great.
@@ShannonFord ok great! I plan to eat these Sunday - Thursday for dinners and then take out Friday and Saturdays. I want to make sure that if I order my 5 meals for Monday delivery that the last one will still be good by Sunday evening. Thank!

How do you defrost your frozen Factor meals?
I leave them out for a few hours or put them in the fridge the day before I plan to eat them

Wow. After I got my *money's worth* and used the *credit* I was given to get the meals I was *owed*, good or not, I wouldn't order from them again, unreal.

I think it was an honest mistake but I wasn’t thrilled with how it was handled. However, I liked the meals enough to keep ordering (and still am) and it’s never happened since.

Thank you so much: I have had a few of the Keto meals and the ones I have had are really good. I am still eating these daily. I only have one of these a day, typically for lunch. The salt seems to be average but I haven’t really looked. But they are made to be eaten fresh, not preserved, so it’s not like a frozen meal in the grocery store.

I continue to use the service and it was my only negative experience. I agree, it wasn’t a good first impression but the meals are good and I haven’t had an issue since
If this service cost 50% more because it used glass or stainless steel packaging that carried a deposit and was returnable for reuse, I would use it. I love the idea of this. However, no way am I re-heating the food in that plastic, and I'm not comfortable with it being transported in plastic. I see it is "BPA free". The problem with plastics is there are dozens of other leach chemicals in them other than BPAs that impact the endocrine system of mammals. There literally is no food-safe plastic. It continues to leach poisonous chemicals as it ''naturally'' degrades over time.
