I have previously preffered compact version. İt is really really good for piano . Also less reported keybed problems than hp versin. What dou you think??
I love the compact version with the semi-weighted keys. Coming from a heavy weighted 88 key piano, it took me a little bit to get used to the dynamics of the lighter keys, but now that I’m used to it, it’s nice. I also play a lot of other instruments like organ and electric piano and the semi-weighted keys are great for those!
I have been having some problems with my Nord stage 3 and since you seem to know about the Nord stage 3 I knew to contact you. So the problem with my Nord is I updated the OS version to the newer version and when i tried to put some sound from the sound library to the nord sound management it gave me a error message error code (9) and i do not know what to do some of my sounds got deleted. I tried to factory reset the piano but it didn't let me. It says CReqfilewrite error: error write (9) so i can not do anything it only lets me back it up but i don't have a backup version of the full piano sound how they were before. If you can please help me I would appreciate it so much.
Hi Jose, thanks for the comment! I've never run across that error before, but I did a little research and it's hard to tell where that error is coming from. Does it give you the error when you try to load any new sound through sound manager or just that specific piano sound? Also, have you tried contacting Nord technical support?
@@DSoundman any sound that i try to put on the sound manger gives me the error and i tried to factory reset but gives me the same error code. i can only back it up do you happen to have a backed up version of your nord stage 3 maybe that would work
Hmm, yeah it sounds like something is corrupt in there. Unfortunately I don’t have a backup. If I were you I’d contact Nord technical support and see if they can help. They should be able to get you what you need to resolve it.
@@joseo9578 As I'm using all factory sounds at the moment, you can just go here: www.nordkeyboards.com/downloads/downloads-nord-stage-3 and download the "Nord Stage 3 Factory Restore". Make sure you use Sound Manager v7.40 or newer when restoring your NS3.You can also download the instructions from there that walk you step by step through the factory restore process. Hopefully that works for you!

So i plugged my phone into monitor in, i listened to each piano then kinda replicated what u did to compare the tone in ur ns3 to mine.....similar but ur ns3 still sound better than mine....i turned all effects off. Can u offer any help pls to make mine sound better....i appreciate room dynamics and speaker type and placement is important, but any help u cud suggest wud be most welcome. Also will u make same vid featuring uprights and EPs pls? Thx Bob
Hey Bob, thanks for the questions! I will be releasing upright and electric piano demos in the coming weeks, so stay tuned for those! In regards to the sound, I’ve found that the volume level you play and/or record the NS3 at has an effect on how it sounds. For example, I record these sounds with an output volume of 75-100% to get the most dynamics possible. Of course, this isn’t going to work when using headphones or speakers as you’ll just get distortion, but that might be what you’re hearing for a difference. Try using different headphones or speakers might help to!
Great sounds and hands!
Would love a demo of the Synth sounds too ,the leads and the pads🙌The pianos sound so real!
They’re in the works! It’s probably going to be a few weeks before I release them, but they’re definitely coming...🤩
Magnifique 😍😍
